The Witcher coming to Playstation 3?

Earlier today we were already informed that a console port of the game is making excellent progress, albeit they couldn't give a specific launch date for that one, also there wasn't given a specific next-gen console.
But it look's like there already is an PS3 version planned.
Cause CD Projekt, the makers of 'The Witcher' are actually searching for a PS3 programmer.

Hit the link for the evidence.

These job postings are sketchy news sources, but it would be cool to see a PS3 port of this game.

This is comin the both PS3 and 360, only Ps3 programmers are demanded since obvious reasons and 360 version any one who works on PC can work on 360 so why to waste money on a extra programmer.

If they are just now hiring a PS3 developer, still would be a ways off until they had a PS3 product unless they are just adding to their already existing PS3 staff.

It would go to both consoles. You don't really need too much to branch from a PC to a 360, so it's only logical that they would extend to both the 360 and PS3.

There's also little motivation outside of sony paying them to go exclusive to PS3. 360 sells more software, and is easier to port to from a PC. It would be kind of stupid for them to put extra resources into a PS3 version and NOT do a 360 version.

CDProject recently got licensed as an authorized 360 developer, so it will defenitly go to the 360. As for Sony I'm not aware of anything.

I only hope for a port is they can do everything the PC version currenty offers. And that is saying something even for features like the timed combat clicks.

I am working my way through the game again now that the new patch has added so much material to the title. Couple this with Djinni (the quest creator) and there is a mountain of entertainment in this title that PC gamer picked as Game of the Month. Simply put it is the best RPG I have ever gamed. It has very strong elements of a 3rd person title.

People have to simply get this game to understand why I am having trouble staying in GTA IV. I just received the novel which was finally published. It is the first English translation of the original Witcher and offers a world that so many sword and sorcery books seek to provide yet almost none capture.

Some small @ss developer pulling in enough people to make it work on PS3 sounds sketchy. I read an interview somewhere stating this was PC exclusive. I know things change.... But converting from PC to PS3 is difficult. If anything, they'll release on 360. I have it for PC, though

CDProjekt only has 46 people employed in game development, as stated on their website. If none of them know PS3, chances of this game going to PS3 are slim.

Too bad the fact they have hired a PS3 programmer is kicking you right in the ass. They don't hire such people to keep other people from getting them. Maybe you should thake a course in logical thought seeing how you possess none.

"A programmer" isn't going to convert a million lines of code. It'll take more than one. Furthermore, Sony sends people in to various companies just to get the code to work properly. One person won't do crap.

So again you moronic dumbass I ask. If they don't intend on using a PS3 programmer, why did they hire him? As an office conversation piece? Do you think he is the only person they hired? Your level of stupidity in infinite.
