Take-Two describes L.A. Noir as 'innovative' and 'exciting'

Take-Two boss Ben Feder has touched on the development of Rockstar's elusive L.A. Noir, confirming that the long-delayed mystery romp is still very much in the works and promises to be highly innovative.

Speaking during the company's Q3 earnings call yesterday, Feder stated that game hasn't been canned but wasn't quite ready to divulge any further information on the project.

"Nothing to announce today. When we have more to announce we will announce it. We're continuing to develop it. We think it's pretty exciting and innovative, and when we have more to share we'll share it," he said.

When quizzed as to whether or not Rockstar San Diego are working on the title, Feder simply replied, "It's handled by Rockstar." Last time we checked, L.A. Noir was pencilled in for release on 'next generation' platforms, having previously been touted as a PlayStation 3 exclusive.
