In the summer of 2014, Jotun raised over $64,000 on Kickstarter and was Greenlit in under a week, drawing attention from several important game outlets. You may have heard of our game, since we have been featured...

Black Ops 3 -Vs- Star Wars, If You Had to Pick One?

75d ago ... Both of these are going to be blockbusters, without question, but only one of these two titles is going to be able to be the runaways success that puts the title at the top of the sales charts. Now to be fair this battle would be different if it was our normal battle of Battlefield vs Call of Duty. But, Interestingly enough DICE has moved to making Star Wars -(Mistake or genius move, hard to...

Dear EA, WTF? Where is Battlefield Bad Company 2 ReMastered

85d ago ... Seriously with all these re-masters popping up, you mean to tell me EA could not get a team together to Remake Battlefield Bad Company 2.. Really? One of the best selling FPS games. I mean come on’ it’s only one of the most beloved games by all gamers young and old and in the franchise history. Hell PC gamers have totally abandoned Battlefield Hardline, just because they wanted a more seriou...

Star Wars Battlefront I Don’t Believe Your Graphics..?

89d ago ... No Campaign Mode / Plus 40 Player Cap So by now we have all seen the amazing trailer of Star Wars Battlefront, what an amazing piece of tech it was, and what an amazing job DICE has done. -But how much of it was actual game play / Yes we know it was using the in-game engine but how close will the actual game-play get to these insane graphics. Well….? Lucky for us some reports have started...

Ye Olde Import Game

156d ago ... In today’s interconnected world, gaming has never been so transparent, especially when it comes to imports. If you want a game from Japan just hop on Amazon and go get it. If there is a certain title you want localized, well then just petition your heart away until you get your wish. It wasn’t always this easy though. Not so long ago importing a game was a dicey affair and more often than not i...

Prejudice "Hard core" War

528d ago ... For some time now gamers have filled forums with hate and verbal violence (and in some situations it even leads to physical violence). Why is this? Why do we need to fight over everything? Why do we need to attack gamers for liking so called "kiddy casual" games? Why does it affect you, if you consider yourself a mature gamer? Aren't mature people supposed to act like adults? Half of the peo...

Has becoming a mainstream medium been the best thing for gaming?

655d ago ... Please read the edit at the bottom! It's a very controversial topic to say the least. This blog is going to be stretching to different points, so please enjoy! Lack of innovation. Without a shadow of a doubt, the level of innovation in the gaming industry has plummeted massively, to the point that the best selling games are generic war shooters that come out on a yearly basis. Companies...

The Next-Gen Launch Power Debacle

661d ago ... First of all, let me just say that this is not going to be me harping on as to which of the next-gen consoles are more powerful. Because it's very obvious that it's the PS4. You can look at the spec sheets and the comments from 3rd party devs and even MS and you'll find the answer. This is going to be about whether or not the next-gen consoles will hold up in terms of performance throughout the...

Immaturity of the community

672d ago ... So Eurogamer has wrapped up, and after 40+hours of having done promo work for DICE/EA on Battlefield 4, I can safely say that it was an unforgettable experience. The devs from DICE were simply hilarious to work with and the comradery you could see from all the devs as they talked and said what they looked forward to in the coming year was inspiring for me as a uni student to want to jump into t...

Battlefield Dino Survival Ideas

733d ago ... The Call Of Duty series has more content to play than battlefield like , Multiplayer, Campaign, Or Zombies/Survival. Unlike Battlefield with Multiplayer, Campaign , And Co-op (Which Sucked) Their have been many easter eggs in Battlefield 3 about Dinosaurs like in wake island or in the campaign where the tank gunner holds a toy dinasour which since then many people have been looking forwar...

"Pwar of teh Clowd"- cutting through the smoke and mirrors, to expose the man behind the curtain.

745d ago ... Ever since the reveal of Xbox One, on May 21st, they have been touting the "Power of the Cloud". Although they never fully explained, what this Powerful Cloud can do. They did allude to Magical powers. Making the xone 3x, 5x, even 10x,. more powerful ,. Or comparing it to the Incredible Hulk.. All of this is Incredibly Absurd, and ridiculous. Insomniac explains the cloud for Sunset Overdrive...

Let the Hypocrisy Flow

784d ago ... Xbox One doesn't have backwards compatibility? No biggie. Ps4 requires payment to play online? I wipe myself with $5 a month! Xbox One has mandatory installs? Whatever, man; Halo! I read a blog by DedicatedToGamers a few days ago, in which he said (in summary) 'I'm not afraid of a console with bad policies, I'm afraid of the gamers that accept them'. I must now concur with grave prejud...

EA Conference and Review

784d ago ... Plants vs. Garden Warfare: Exclusive to Xbox One and later Xbox 360. 3rd person Action game (very shooter heavy though). It’s interesting to say the least, and looks surprisingly good graphically (running on Frostbite 3.0). It could be a fun multiplayer co-op game, but I personally can’t take this serious. Love PvZ though. Peggle 2: Announced? TitanFall: More gameplay footage. It’s C...

Battlefield 3 - Its not that bad really...

1367d ago ... So Battlefield 3 has been sat in many a Gamers Xbox 360 / PS3 disc tray for the past week or so ..if your anything like me of course. Anyway after a fairly chaotic start online for Battlefield 3 in regards to the quick match not working and rubber banding and not to mention horrendous lag and having to find games with what I thought was going to be a great addition the Server Browser and not...

PC Gaming and why I'm confused.

1477d ago ... You know lately if you've been paying attention to the news here, a lot of PC gaming stuff has been popping up. Now I'm not talking about actual PC games (though admittedly the issues do involve PC versions of games) but the quality of PC versions, their relation to consoles, and the attitudes of PC gamers. Take the new Battlefield game coming out. For some reason there is this huge uproar a...

Next-Gen Consoles Need to be Truly Future Proof

1516d ago ... As I was watching the Battlefield 3 demo at E3 this year I needed a bucket to catch the drool running from my dropped jaw. The lighting, the atmosphere, the sounds; everything about this game made me want to run to the nearest mountain top and scream out that I was pre-ordering this sexy beast. Then I hoped onto the live stream of EA’s Battlefield 3 event and watched two hours of multiplayer ma...

Why I'm not buying into the early Battlefield 3 hype

1608d ago ... Battlefield is a long running series from Swedish arm of EA, DICE. Unlike most people on N4G, I'm a true Battlefield veteran, having played every retail release (as well as the F2P games and 1943). With Crytek apparently having dropped the ball for the PC release of Crysis 2 (a claim I find ridiculous despite the obvious console spec PC demo), many are turning towards DICE, hailing them as the...

GDC Day One

1616d ago ... Welcome to March! By now you've probably all checked out the March Contests Blog, but if you haven't, here are some directions: http://n4g.com/user/blogpost/cat/516923 Yesterday morning I stopped off at the Microsoft Lobby Bar to play a few games. Regrettably, I fear I may never master the art of playing a game while holding an intelligent conversation and retaining the information fro...

Battlefield Bad Company 2 - PS3 Beta review

2079d ago ... Battlefield Bad Company 2 is set to Launch on 360, PS3, and this time PC March 2010. The original BFBC was a lot of fun but the multiplayer on consoles could use some work. The original never came to PC but DICE decided this time around to bring it to the PC and have dedicated servers. That demo comes out in December which I will be writing another blog about that one separately.
