Call of Duty: Warzone Season 03 is coming with a new set of updates and exciting features that the players can look forward to. The Battle Royale community has eagerly anticipated these patch notes, and they will not be disappointed.

With a focus on improving the core pacing of the game, changes in combat engagements, equipment and killstreak rebalance, movement, traversal, and improvements in the quality of life, Season 3 is going to be a game-changer.

One of the most significant changes is improvements to the pacing of the game. The developers have listened to player feedback and carefully reviewed Battle Royale pacing trends. They have made changes that strike a delicate balance between downtime that is appropriate to allow for looting and loadout acquisition.

Battle Royale Patch Notes for MW2 Season 3

The changes in the patch notes include reduced delay time between circles closing towards the mid-game, the addition of more Ammo Caches and Buy Stations in areas to support regain in the late-game, as well as the inclusion of UAV Towers to provide intel and encourage more combat engagement opportunities.

Players can also expect combat engagement changes. These changes include the reduced intensity of damage feedback on the HUD to better improve combat visibility and reduced high-damage weapon outliers to make combat feel more consistent. One-Hit-Down Snipers have been added to create variety in combat playstyles, which were tested in the Saint Patrick’s Day Event.

Bolt-action snipers equipped with explosive ammunition can eliminate enemies with one skill shot. The MCPR-300 has also explosive ammunition. A number of equipment and killstreak rebalances are coming this season, including a Bomb Drone update. This is so that it will no longer be one-hit-down and can instead support flushing and/or pushing an enemy squad.

Movement and traversal will now feel more dynamic and fluid due in part to improvements to mantling over objects or through windows. There are also slight adjustments to sliding and diving responsiveness, and the addition of Redeploy Drones to better enable rotation opportunities. Quality of life remains an area of continued focus for the Warzone 2.0 team, with Season 03 being no exception.

Among the vast array of improvements are the inclusion of elevation arrows on the Tac Map to help players better locate objects and the Incoming Killstreak banner has been raised to sit further from the aiming reticule to offer cleaner sightlines.

Looking ahead, the developers will be sharing more information on Massive Resurgence, Plunder, Warzone Ranked, and more in-season content in the coming weeks. In the meantime, Infinity Ward, Raven Software, and their partners at Treyarch, Sledgehammer Games, High Moon Studios, Beenox, Demonware, and Activision are working hard to bring players the best that Call of Duty has to offer.
