Using a combination of unusual button sequences, weapon swaps, and sometimes careful jumping players have been able to exploit the game's programming to cheat. Two of the more prominent bugs (the Javelin and Care Package glitch) were fixed in the most recent online update, as well as many of the bugs allowing players to move inside walls. However some of the exploits remain in the game, and have seen increased use with the removal of other exploits."

Halo Reach World Premiere Video

VGA World Premiere Halo Reach Trailer

Will Halo Reach be using a new engine? With the beta due out in the Spring of 2010, only time will answer the burning questions that Halo fans ponder. Immediate reactions to the trailer released at the 2009 Spike VGA's are that fans are not overwhelmed by the graphics of Reach. Although pretty, the question has got to be asked : Is Halo: Reach using a new engine? Judging by the screenshots, theories are mixed. Have a close look at some still shots from the trailer released by Bungie....more

NPD sales numbers for November 2009

Black Friday marks the beginning of the holiday period. Were pretty sure this was a server error/glitch and not somebody doing it as we had a constant stream of new people. Below is a video clip of our experience as you can see it turns into a grenade launcher war for the most part. Also in the video is a shot of the AC130 which also has NO reloading and becomes an automatic death machine.

Endurance: Halo: Reach Proves Xbox 360 has it

Notice the image above? It's meant to display the lasting pull of the Xbox 360. Ever since the new Halo: Reach trailer was unveiled, the internet has been in an uproar. Some questioned the validity of the showing while believers were awestruck, and now the speculations run endless. But there's one thing that Bungie's biggest effort yet demonstrates: Xbox 360 has staying power and will stand next to PS3 for years to come; this must be reassuring to Microsoft.

Is The Xbox 360 Lineup in 2010 The Best Ever For the 360?

The Bitbag writes: "(Let me preface this by saying that I'm not comparing the 360 lineup to the PS3 lineup at all. I'm comparing this lineup to past 360 lineups, most notably 2007. The PS3 has a great lineup next year as well and may be the best ever for the PS3 too.)

At E3, I was fortunate enough to go to both the Microsoft and Sony press conferences and get a first hand look at both companies lineups for the near future. Both conferences showcased games coming out in 2009/2010. At the end of those two days, many people talked about which conference was better? A lot of people said that Microsoft had a more well spread out conference, and Sony had a conference that was just one heavy hitting game after another. Microsoft was focusing on Natal, Milo, Metal Gear coming to the 360, and announcing a smaller list of exclusives. While Sony focused on one awesome game after another, and then their motion control."

Halo Reach Premiere HD from Bungie

The Halo: Reach World Premier video in HD, courtesy of Bungie. It wasn't the lackluster 'That's it?' of the E3 2K9 reveal but it wasn't the awesome testosterone fest of Halo 2's (ultimately watered down) New Mombasa gameplay reveal at E3 2003. That said, Halo: Reach looks far better than any Halo to date. Queries have been arising as to whether the game is running on a new engine or not, but we can confirm one thing: Yes, Reach is running in real time."

Update: To verify, it is the portions after the 0:34 mark in the trailer that we are referring to as real time.

Xbox 360 Has Become A Force To Be Reckoned With

GamesThirst: Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you a company that came on the scene and has changed the gaming industry forever. A company that many thought would not survive the wrath of Sony and the Playstation brand, but yet still has endured. A company who's motto seems to be "by any means necessary". Microsoft and the Xbox 360 have become a force to be reckoned with. Impossible

PS3Informer writes, "Greenberg may be jumping the gun a little by already proclaiming Halo: Reach as the biggest game of 2010. Is his prediction valid? Seems like a lot of heavy hitters are going to give Halo: Reach a run for its money. Games like Starcraft III and Final Fantasy XIII have been a decade in the making and their fan following are enormous."

MS' Greenberg Promises 'Halo Reach Will Be The Biggest Game Of 2010' Amidst NPD Musings

Aaron Greenberg, Microsoft's product management director, is ebullient about the company's performance in November 2009's NPD results. The Xbox 360 lead the PS3 in sales, though it did drop slightly year on year.

Of course, the month's big story was the huge sales of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which boasted the biggest opening month sales ever at 4.2 million copies -- besting the PlayStation 3 version over 2:1 in sales.

It's worth noting that this does not include copies bundled with Microsoft's limited edition console, a move Sony did not replicate. In comparison, the massively hyped Halo 3 sold 3.3 million copies on its September 2007 debut.

Modern Warfare 2 Epic Javelin FAIL

Video of an impossible Javelin death in Modern Warfare 2, in which the player attempts to shoot down a jet and gets a surprise.

Killzone 3 Updated Engine At GDC '2010 Behind Closed Doors HipHopGamerShow 12/13/09

1.
