GamerZines: Xbox marketing exec Aaron Greenberg recently told Gamasutra, "I feel confident that there's nothing that will compare in size, Halo: Reach will be the biggest game of 2010."

Now Microsoft's over-confidence aside, we can understand why Mr Greenberg would make such a claim but there are a handful of titles which could challenge for the top spot.

The Good Gear Guide charts the grimy evolution of Evony banner ads, with pictures and commentary.

"The first batch of Evony ads at least tried to establish a tenuous connection with the game. Since then, Evony's marketing campaign has gone all out with Eurasian models, lingerie catalogue rejects and porno DVD covers. This culminated in a context-free advert of the Evony logo nestled between a pair of big breasts. (We're not sure where they can go from here, but we're kind of intrigued to find out.)"

EA and Bioware have confirmed the final contents of the Mass Effect 2 special edition and what they look like in a nice looking image.

The Mass Effect 2 Collectors' Edition is to include a 48 page full-color concept art booklet, a collectable tin box and a Mass Effect Redeption comic to run your hands across in real life, while in-game Commander Shepard will get his hands on Limited Edition Armor and access to the Cerberus Network, which'll provide more exclusive in-game content.

Modern Warfare 2 hit by anti-gay claim

RegHardware: Videogame Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 contains a homophobic slur, it has been claimed.

Shortly after the weapons tutorial at the beginning of the game, and when the player has no equipment, he is asked by another if he has ever seen a grown man naked.

After a few laughs, the player's character appears to ask: "Hey man, are you still gay?"

Although the character then says he's only kidding, he follows the remark up with: "Don't ask don't tell."

Modern Warfare 2 Still NOT Fixed

Early this morning, after being certified by Microsoft, update 1.06 for Modern Warfare 2 was applied, and tossed upon all who wished to play the game online. It was made to fix an entire horde of glitches, bugs and environment exploits found throughout the online multiplayer modes. Did Infinity Ward succeed with this latest patch, or are more waiting for us just beyond the horizon.

David Jaffe, best known for God of War, has been divorcing himself from the internet, closing his blog and twitter, due to many of his comments being taken out of context and blown out of proportion.
