God of War creator confirms three PS3 exclusives

David Jaffe confirmed in an interview with GamePro that Eat Sleep Play's three upcoming games would in fact be original PS3 exclusives.

Jaffe clarified statements that in addition to the Twisted Metal: Head-On port for PS2, his new independent studio of 20 employees will concurrently be working on the first of three original games exclusively for PlayStation 3.

"I can't disclose themes," Jaffe said, "but the new game is medium to hardcore in terms of game play and will focus heavily on multiplayer."

I pray to God that they announce PS3 Twisted Metal soon. Sadly, they might not make God Of War 3 since its an internal Sony game but Cory Barlog did a great job with GOW2 so hopefully GOW3 can be as good if not better.

Also, hopefully not all of these 3 PS3 games are PSN titles. I love Calling All Cars but come on David, I want to more epic games.

6.1 - Storyline

You know the storyline of God of War 2 really makes you wonder what they will do for the third to keep it exciting. There were a lot of big mythical names and I just hope that the writers don't run out of resources and you don't ending fighting someone like Dionysis (god of wine I think). Kratos doesn't have many more people to kill.

Good point.
With GOW2 ending with all those titans along with the news between GOW2 creator and Shadow Of the Colossus news, GOW3 could be a mix of both that if done right, could blow every living being's mind.

Kratos battling all those titans in a SOTC manner would be sick.

7 - Jaffe can't make any god of war

Jaffe himself cannot make God of War, the IP is owned by the former company, not by himself. he has not rights to make that game unless Sony Santa Monica gives him the go ahead like they did for Chains of Olympus to the PSP guys. But of course if he wants to participate in making the game, I am sure he will be more than welcome to...by Cory.

Even Calling All Cars was great. It was the first game my wife actually played and enjoyed on the PS3. She's not big on FPS's or racing games other than Burnout and that was the best casual game for the PS3 yet.

The only thing I hated about it was the music. It wasn't bad at first, but when it got stuck in your head for days after playing the game I got pretty sick of it. I can still remember that damn music.

When he was at that latest comicon, he stated that he would
not be working on the God of War franchise any longer,

I was very dissapointed by that bit of news.
But Hopefully this new series will give an excuse as to why he wouldn't be able to.

I'm also scared that this wont be an epic title, due to the fact he was complaining about how much time God of War took out of his personal life, (which is understandable) Hopefully this will be something good
