What most don't seem to understand is this.

Unless someone is on your friends list, when in a game, it's your choice whether you talk to someone or not.

I've got a blu-t headset and sometimes use it.

Talking to teammates is normally found within the name, i/e MATES/Friends.

Used for clan matches.

Then you used to get other idiots slagging you off on PC, for not doing things the way others want you to.

My mates that have a 360, get spam voice messages calling them all sorts because they beaten the other person.

Clan matches are better for chat, always were, always will be.

And yes it takes a low spec PC to run this game.

When firing the any weapon, does not feel as though your hitting anything.

Gabe and co, really need to up the graphics engine and games they make if they want to compete on PS3.

I completed L4D in a few hours. Was EAZY.

Ok so no Left 4 Dead 2 on Ps3 we get the idea now if Valve does not want to take the challenge to develop for the Ps3 fine by me. The only way Valve will develop for the Ps3 is if I dress it up like a cheese burger and put it infront of Gabes face and pray he does not eat it. I think Valve is scarred to see what the PS3 can really do with their games. But whats funny is other developers choose wich console gets what game I don't mind that but you don't see Capcom, or even Ubisoft saying one console is better than the other thats unprofessional and is starts fanboy wars. If Valve hates the Ps3 so much then why did Gabe say a few months back on here that they want to create a game for the PSN wich was a table top zombie game. No Valve games on PS3 I think they should shut up and quit dragging the PS3 down and go back to making glitchy games.

Valve have already admitted they cant develop for the difficult architecture that is the PS3.

To blame the community for their lack of PS3 support AFTER saying it's the architecture tells me only 1 thing.

They're embarrassed that they're still stuck in the past and when they're looking at a PS3 devkit it's like a monkey looking at a car battery...they dont know what the fukc to do with it.

They should be ashamed of themselves not only for refusing to even TRY to learn the architecture, but also for judging 30mil + console owners like the fool that he is.

SONY has over 20 1st and 2nd party publishers, Microsoft has only 2 maybe 3.

LET MS take Valve, we're getting great games left and right from SONY exclusive parties, so let MS take their 1. Really...what does that mean to us? lol

Have fun with L4D, I dont want to sound like a broken record, but Ive played every Valve game on my PC, and I dont feel as though they're Vital in ANY way to the PS3 community. Just less games to spend money on.

PS3 owners have $$$ more often than not, and has a more mature community, because PS3s at one time were too expensive for every little 14 year old to purchase. If the XBL community is more 'valuable' to valve than the PS3 community, that says a lot...about their Target demographic...kids.

i personally don't care if a Valve game NEVER touches a Playstation console: i have an Xbox 360, and i have a PC, and yet i still don't buy Valve games.

Valve can't seem to get the PS3 off of their minds. if they were confident in developing solely for the PC and 360, WHY do they CONSTANTLY have to comment on the PS3 and try to justify why they won't develop for it?

are they trying to reassure themselves that they made a good decision?

do they see the PS3 gaining momentum in retail, and regret the ignorant comments they made at the start of this generation, which alienated them from the Playstation community, so now they have to come up with flimsy excuses to try and convince themselves that releasing their games on the PC and 360 is good?

no matter how you slice it, Valve, being independent, could have had a nice presence on the PS3. they chose to be PC and 360 developers only. nothing wrong with that.

why won't they just leave it at that then, instead of constantly picking at the PS3 and it's owners, and why don't interviewers just leave it be as well?

the gaming media is just as guilty for keeping this pointless subject going as Valve by constantly asking why they don't develop for the PS3.

Valve has stated their thoughts 3 years ago. i don't need to hear it repeated over and over and over again, or the flimsy excuses.

yeah, the PS3 doesn't have an online community, that's why games like Warhawk, Killzone 2, Resistance 1 and 2, SOCOM: Confrontation, and Uncharted 2 to name only a few, have THRIVING online communities.

Valve...just STOP. seriously. drop the PS3 from your vocabulary.

That they are game play innovators and not game design innovators, and they simply don't have people who can program for the PS3. PS3 owners aren't that upset, because it's just a typical FPS that is all co-op VS. zombies, sure it's something that we'd like to have, but it's nothing particularly amazing. As far as I can tell, L4D2 is not a significant improvement over the last one, so even that's not impressive. Also, playstation owners have more sophisticated and diverse tastes, whereas Xbox players are FPS lovers, who will gobble up whatever trendy FPS is on its way next. I'm not saying this to be offensive to Xbox players, I'm just pointing out that the FPS genre in particular does really well on that platform, it started last gen because FPS was more of a PC genre, and since Xbox is similar to PC from a game design perspective,a lot of FPS programmers decided to make an extra buck by porting to Xbox, plus microsoft encouraged them to so that they could get some exclusives, whereas the playstation platform has always focused on other genres. But the real problem here is that Valve seems so unconcerned about the prospect of really ever getting onto the Play Station platform that they'd rather insult the community than own up to the fact that they just don't have enough experienced people to work on PS3 and they seem to be an insular group so they're reluctant to take new people on.

Even after GearBox and EA, and a couple other companies, publicly called Valve stupid and full of idiots. Even after Sony offered to help them port games and give them some tech help. Even after all of this. Valve still inflates their enourmous heads and pretends to be a third party developer? Its sad, just call yourself a Xbox exclusive company and get on with it, stop dissing the PS3 WE DONT CARE! Your subpar games wouldn't sell anyways unless EA or someone slapped their name on it too.

Truth be had, fine you dont like the PS3, then why not throw your games at EA and say have fun? Instead you come out and say something that makes you look like an idiot infront of millions of people and will eventually bite you in the ass when you want ports on PS3, then go back and take the check from Microsoft. I wouldn't take what they say as truth by a long shot, their thinking is to closed minded and probably have no idea how the PSN network works or exactly how many people really used it, I wouldn't say that the community is "head and shoulders" above the PS3, the PSN network is quite large if they would take the time to get off their lazy azz and check, now if they where talking about functionality and other features, then yes, 360 is ahead, but the amount of people that utilize both online services, the gap is narrowing slowly.

Valve used to be a great developer, they made Half Life and then took 6 years to release the sequel until they were sure it was a masterpiece and it was

now that they're on MS payroll they put out a game that uses a 4 year old engine that looks it could run on Wii and 1 year later they come up with the sequel

the first left 4 dead is a good game but no masterpiece and they take only 1 year and do a sequel that looks about the same?

I am just being logical here, the Xbox community is so much larger than the PS3 community. It is therefore going to be getting more sales on the 360 in comparison to the PS3, not to mention it'll be played a lot more on the 360 because of a larger community, increasing word of mouth and in turn gaining more sales.

The PS3 online community is VERY small compared to the amount of people logging into Xbox Live on a daily basis. I bet more people log into Xbox Live in the run of a day than what people log on to the PS3 in three days. I am just being realistic here. It's common sense. To Valve, releasing L4D for the PS3 is almost as bad as releasing it for the Wii. ALMOST.
