First teaser for Kane & Lynch 2 is certainly different

TVGB: "You probably wouldn't know it unless someone told you, but this is apparently a trailer for Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. I'll give them points for originality for sure, as I've never seen a trailer made to look like security cam footage from a Chinese restaurant. It's hard to tell, but the guy who is getting mauled by the dog is sporting Lynch's hairdo from the first game. I'm also pretty sure they're naked."

I'm pretty surprised too. But, pleasantly surprised. I didn't play the first one but it looked like it had a lot of potential. Here's hoping they fix the flaws and make a great game.

Oh and I actually liked the trailer. It's original to say the least.

edit: I'm gonna look for it on ebayactually. And come on, who doesn't see the potential?

Keep in mind these are the guys behind Hitman, and the first Hitman game wasn't really that great either. However, that series has turned into something seriously awesome IMO. It really does suck about Gerstmann, but I do really like how Giant Bomb is coming along so it's not all bad (I guess?).

Weird teaser, btw.

12 - I played the first one and liked it
The multiplayer in K&L was really fun. The feature of choosing if/when to turn against your teammates was fun and quite often ended with hilarious results.

It only had 4 maps, but it's still the most unique online experience I ever played. Very glad to hear there's a sequel.

Are you sure you've got the right game? I'm not saying that sneeringly or anything, I can see why a lot of people hated the first game even though I loved it. I'm just asking because up there you described it as 'doing the thug gangsta thing very poorly' and this game is about two middle aged white guys. I know they're criminals but the game was much more in line with 80's action movie style crime heists than thug gangsta crap.

well honestly i only saw very little of this game so my comments are probly way of im sure if more people gave it a chance it would have better reveiws, i was just put of by its style in general but its most likely way better than most people say, but to each there own im glad even though alot of people disliked the 1st game that all the fans will get a sequel, if only that was true for some of the other more obscure games.

the first game only failed because of the unforgiving difficulty level, the wonky controls and the sh!tty monster truck fight.. no one can deny that the story has potential and i'm sure they've learned from their mistakes from the first game and this one will be good at least if not epic.
