Graphically, I'm pretty sure Halo: Reach won't compete with Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2, but it isn't all about graphics.

Halo: Reach will have awesome gameplay and the COMMUNITY will be awesome, just like Halo 3. Bungie will support the community as well, like they always do. If you want to know why Halo 3 is consistently one of the most played games on XBL week in and week out, it's because Bungie supports the community week in and week out.

That said, after Mass Effect 2 drops, my most anticipated game will probably be Halo: Reach.

Master Chief WAS on reach. He was the only spartan to survive...supposedly. And the armour he was wearing on reach is not the MJOLNIR Mark IV Powered Assault Armor seen in Halo 3.

It could be any spartan II's, i wouldnt mind playing reach on how odst played out, you know playing different characters, possibly this could be the route bungie take, testing the waters with odst.

I like how they have different weapons, not seen in any of the games before, probably coz they are on reach and have testing facilites for advanced weaponry. Including covie weapons.

The Master Chief has a mission to capture and control a Covenant spaceship for research and analysis, with the aid of the Pillar of Autumn, commanded by Captain Keyes. However, the mission is soon interrupted when Reach is attacked by a Covenant armada. The Master Chief and the Spartans quickly go to aid the doomed planet. Unfortunately, the battle is lost and the Spartans are assumed dead when the planet is glassed by the Covenant. The Master Chief escapes with Cortana on a starship called the Pillar of Autumn, using the slipspace coordinates she acquired from a Forerunner artifact discovered on Reach.

I have a feeling we are going to be seeing a beta release pretty damn soon. This looks very promising. Already there is a difference in quality. How much so I don't know, and I'm curious to see what this new engine is capable of.

personally i love playing as masterchief. of course i wouldnt mind playing as other spartans, but i hope the majority of the time you play as masterchief. also, since this is before halo 1, does that mean you will battle the elites again, and not see the flood since they first appeared in halo 1?

But the game does look promising, the thing that grabbed me the msot graphics wise was the detail on the Warthog. Definitly a noticable diffirence in graphics between Halo 3 and Halo: Reach.

Now, I do hope that they stay away from perks and squad based gameplay.

Meh. I'm really looking forward to this. But these screens are blurry and unimpressive. I'm probably one of the few people on here that was very satisfied with Halo 3's graphics. My only gripe with it is the campaign story. Lame story.

for any of you that do not know what halo legends is, its a new anime series based obviously on halo. i guess you could search on youtube or something but, theres a clip where masterchief is wearing some kind of like super suit add-on. and if you look at the picture where there in the office, the guy appears to be wearing something similar to it. im not to sure, what do you guys think?

The fact is, we're playing at Reach, and there were tons of Spartans there. Seeing pictures of Spartans at Reach =/= playing as Master Chief. Maybe we will, maybe we won't. If we're looking for proof, this ain't it.

You know there's an obvious graphical improvement to a game when you can look at blurry, off-screen images and see it. The gun detail actually really looks well done, and this is still an extremely early stage of development, considering it's probably going to release in September 2010.

Well well, aren't the tides reversed. If I remember correctly, a year or so ago, the persecution would be coming from our end of the spectrum. Aw well, can't say some of us Xbots didn't deserve it. But you So-Nerds must be real desperate to disparage leaked photos months in from the Actual product release. "Ha ha, the graphics are horrible." How do you know? Last I checked this wasn't an official release. I'll judge when I hear from the Horse's mouth. From what I see, these are the nervous panderings of individuals who see a hint of possibility. And believe you me, those photos have quite a bit of possibility.

Does it irk you that an 360 game might actually come close or MAYBE even match up to one of your beloved "exclusives"? Fake or Not, these photos look way different from ODST or any of the other Halo games. And again, we're still a good part of a year from launch.

So how about you quit the rabid fanboyism, and take this with a grain of salt. Because frankly you look like starving vultures picking at rocks for insects. Go play your exclusives. Their marvelous pieces of work and I'm sure you'll enjoy having your high graphical standards met. You've no time to nit pick at things like this So-Nerds. There is no time to lose!
