Yeah it's $10 cheaper but knowing Activision lately they will probably release dedicated server support in a DLC for $10 shortly after they release.

It's $60 because Activison feels like it should be. There was also a price hike for the console version in Europe. They're basically just being complete and utter assholes, and know gamers will take it like the sheep they expect us to be.

If you've gotta have the game, buy it used, or pirate it. Though at this point, with 2.5 million sheeple already lubed up and waiting with their pre-orders, it hardly matters. They're still going to be handsomely rewarded with a mountain of money.

Remember what happened with Treyarch decided not to make a Call of Duty 3 PC port?

Also, this is ridiculous! Even Perfect Dark Zero on the 360 supported 32 players via P2P and it ran pretty good most of the time. Why don't IW just include it? Who cares if it won't work well for some, don't piss of the audience more than you already have!

This is the problem. Its like IW arnt even stepping up to beating other FPS games.

Battlefield's party piece is destructable envoronments

Killzone 2 has brilliant graphics and huge multi level maps (more games should have them)

Resistance 2 has 60 player online and brilliant co-op

Halo 3 has a mix if great vehicles and guns, and great controls

Modern warefare 2? Its got perks but most games have a level up system so really what does the game have that I cant get from killzone 2 or halo 3???

Killzone 2 is very good. Not without its faults but a very good online experience.

In Killzone 3 the only thing they need to fix is their classes. The sniper class is way overpowered, its the n00b machine... Go completely invisible and shoot people in the face with a sniper rifle 3 feet away. =S

Oh god don't give them ideas. I can see IW doing that for the next COD they do "yeah we removed keyboard and mouse support because PC gamers wanted the game to be more accessible". I don't hold out much hope for the future of COD on the PC now. I think IW should just ditch the PC, they obviously have no interest in us PC gamers now and they are doing more harm than good.

Yeah, I'm cancelling my order. 9 vs 9, that sucks hard. I'm not used to that. I'm also used to picking what servers I want to join. Screw this. After the fast single player, then the crappy multiplayer..that sucks. Probably won't be able to resell it either cus they might make u join steam or something else to prevent reselling. And for $10 more than pc games usually sell for. Forget it, I'm done. I'll definitely get battlefield bad company.

Wrong 5.1. But u wouldn't know cus you've been playing it on consoles. There again goes the ability to CHOOSE which server u want to join. You could always join a 9vs9, it's your choice. But if u wanted to join a 12vs 12 or 15vs 15, the choice was still there. And if u wanted to join a server that had certain perks disabled such as martyrdom, then it was your choice. If u wanted to join an all sniper server..it was your choice...not anymore

I'm tempted to agree with ambientFLIER, I mean yes it's always good to have the option, but with a 32 player cap in CoD4, virtually all the public servers were 32 player, I guess because everyone assumed more is better. And well, 32 players on most maps was ridiculous. You'd spawn, instantly die, repeat. That didn't bother me because I usually played S&D promod, but when you think about it, the only way for IW to improve the gameplay for the pub players here is to forcefully reduce the player count like this.

They can go to hell for not including dedicated servers though!

6 - Worst sequel ... ever?

I'm proud to say one of my favorite MP games back in the day was FEAR. On the PC this was THE game to play. Balanced learning curve, great maps, awesome weapons, and bare knuckle brawling. Until mods came out, FEAR was capped at 16 players, with 8 vs 8.

This however, was just over 4 years ago...

Times have changed, and I remember one of my favorite parts of COD4 was the modded servers with 50+ players. These were hectic and extended the life of the game substantially. I mean seriously, check out the picture I attached, those were bad *** servers!

MW2 hasn't even released, and its been herald as my most disappointing game EVER.

After ripping and running, will I like it? Of course... gaming is an art form to me, MW2 is a step forward in many respects...

but will it be the game COD4 was? No.
