God of War 3 demo available now at Gamestop

Ok now I'm infinitely getting God of War Collection :). I have God of War 2 (still haven't beat it, PS2 was stolen and I got a PS3 but I didn't have it in me to go back until now), had the first one but lost it.

So yeah GOW: C will be a buy along with Assassin's Creed 2.

I'm FORCED to get the GoW Collection because I haven't played any of the GoWs. All my friends told me I need to play GoW 1 and 2 before I play GoW3 because A: They're amazing, and B: The storyline.

Even though GoW 1 and 2's graphics aren't that good compared to modern games, the gameplay is still supposed to hang with the best. As far as priorities go, it's gameplay over graphics and the funny thing about PS3 is, the gameplay is the best out there and the graphics are equally as good!

I'm getting the GoW collection, so no problem! Also, it will probably be the same demo all around, because making a demo requires time and money. It would be a waste of both to make a seperate demo just so people can preorder the game.

I can honestly say I do not like, support, shop at or recommend Gamestop to anyone. The promotions Microsoft and Sony use to support Gamestop irritate me to no end. I don't understand why either company supports a retailer that specializes in screwing over developers, publishers and customers the way they do.

I still don't get why people hate Gamestop so much? If it's because you feel like you are getting cheated then i'd like to point something out... Stores like Gamestop are mainly there for you to trade in the crap you don't want and have no use for, you know like old sports games and stuff. People make their own decision to sell a game there.

I only sell games to GS that I don't give a F about at all, because that's how they pay you for it. They are willing to take your BS game from you. If you are trading in a good game to them and are mad that you didn't get the amount you wanted, maybe you are the sucker.

Like I always say, you don't have to sell it to them! You can see how much they offer and if it's too low, you can say nevermind and take your sh*t back home with you and try to sell it!

No need to hate them, you make the choice in the end! Only take your bs stuff there!

You should have done what I did. First thing I did was ask if they have any codes left. When they found them I said I wanted to preorder. Of course, then they couldn't put my order in their computer because nobody had put the Ultimate version in their computer yet so there wasn't a SKU to enter. Luckily someone at another store had the number. I think this whole thing was rushed too fast. Gamestop stores were surprised by it.

they didn't have the SKU in when I preorder the collector's edition either....so I just went ahead and put the $10, had them make a note of it on my receipt, and then I will call in a week to confirm the change.

Sucks that you did not get the code....I would have pressed a little harder...cause the previous preorders can't miss what was never really suppose to come to them.

Well I tried emailing Gamestop about it and got the run around from them about it as well. I actually called them about it before the UE was in there system only to find out that they got a message about it right after I called. To make things worse though one of their own employees walked out of the store with a code as I was walking in so I figured they had some. Im not one to make a scene though so I let it go for now but Im definitely not happy about it.

It's the same demo from e3 09 ! But Santa Monica studios confrimed that the demo is running only at %60 of it's Graphics power and that the final version will run at 1080p @ 60 FPS !!!
