Wow that would suck if your account was hacked.

Hackers continue to improve their game, they must face penalties.

1.2 - Don't worry...
Most N4G users use the Hotmail competition site.

HOTMALE!

Users of HOTMALE don't concerning themselves with hacking or security. NO one wants to see what they are emailing each other about.

1.10 - Unfortunately, Phising is not the same as Hacking!
Phising is tricking the user to provide the credentials. That means 10k unsuspecting users gave away their passwords.

It has nothing to do with hacking let alone MS ability to secure their servers. Google once had a security hole that allowed emails to be forwarded to other email accounts via their filters. No password needed!

Why not use the original title of the article? Almost always do we get misleading or in this case plain wrong titles when it is changed!

How the F did you found out about HOTMALE, FrankDrebin?

@IdleLeeSiuLung: This is where I took the title from:

http://i163.photobucket.com...

It's the same source, and I chose that one(obviously) for the hits, you know how things work around here. :p

obviously you dont or your just messing around. anyway Phishing is when a user is tricked into giving out their own information aka the accounts WAS NOT HACKED.

a quote from the story
"Phishing involves using fake websites to lure people into revealing details such as bank accounts or login names"

i was one of the better web mails of it's time. i never thought of Hotmail sucking,it has more to offer than a lot of web mails but yeah it'd been better had it remained independent.

Suppose a vault maker sells you an expensive vault for your bank and a thief comes along and steal everything inside.

Would you blame the vault maker for making tall claims and lying knowing that the vault is piece of junk or would you blame the thief for being so intelligent?

THINK. It doesn't cost money.

are you an idiot? your "arguement" is completely void.

Its up to the users of hotmail to keep their passwords secure. If you got a key logger on your computer and your hotmail info was logged would you blame Microsoft? (hopefully not otherwise your a fool) its EXACTLY the same as this but people gave away information on websites.

Lame titel and the stupidity from the posters.
Phishing is your own dam fault, not that the servers got hacked and they got there info that way. When that happens you can call it microsofts fault but no company cant stop a good hacker look even the sh!tty pentagon got hacked(he got access to classified information) by a British hacker.
