Looks solid. I wonder how they'll work in the bullet time stuff during multiplayer matches. Maybe they'll use it as a special power up or something.

It looks stunning, and the gameplay additions sound fantastic. I'm just not convinced in the slightest that this will feel like a Max Payne game.

I'll have to wait and see. I just wish Remedy had waited until after the release of Alan Wake and done Max Payne 3 themselves.

What is Grigori Rasputin doing in a Max Payne game?
I'm usually mad about bald characters (excepted 47 and Kratos) because they often lack of charisma but this time Max Payne looks quite good, even if i miss the good old Max Payne with his "I'm angrily smiling" static face.

Now i know i speak fo everybody here who are fans of the game and so am i, but all i wanna know is that in what in the hell are they doing with Max Payne!? I know we dont live in 2001-2004 anymore and the gameplay might as well change along with the time but...is it really gong to be for the best?

I have the GI book in front of me... while it does resemble Uncharted, Uncharted 2 blows this away.
However, I would assume more polish needs to be applied before I can solidify or dismiss that remark.

Looks good but what's with the El Matador style setting? I wish they would've stuck with gritty urban levels like the first two and just moved it across the coast to L.A., Vegas or somewhere similar.

That said the graphics and guns look much better than expected; I just hope the dev team responsible for Bully can handle making a legit action game.

In fairness to Rockstar, I can understand the drastic change of appearance and the change of location as well. I mean, Max's life has been pretty buggered up? With 12 years gone by and an addiction to painkillers, his new appearance is completely understandable.

For me, the change in location is even more logical. As I mentioned before, Max had a pretty crappy time in New York. Wouldn't you want to move and get away from all of that? Leave you troubles behind, so to speak?

I think the whole thing makes perfect sense. Max is probably trying to start fresh, start a new life. But, in true Max Payne style, he'll get put in some serious shizz and will undoubtedly end up facing that classic lesson: the past always catched you up, no matter how hard you try to get away from it. I know that 'Noir York' was like a second character in the first two Max Payne games, but the series has to move on. I'll take this particular comment back completely if the game doesn't feel anything like a Max Payne game once we get the chance to play it, but for now I think we should just wait and see.

This has potential; not just as an amazing game, but as an amazing MAX PAYNE game. I'm willing to give Rockstar the benefit of the doubt, for now.

Splinter Cell: Conviction
Max Payne 3

I guess it's a natural progression? I just hope this game is good. Condemned 2's story was crap; Splinter Cell: Conviction, based upon the gameplay trailer, looks way too easy with snap-to aiming and obvious kill points; Let's hope Rockstar does this one right!

BTW, I *am* still holding out on Conviction to see if it fares good in reviews. It's still early in the game cycle, after all. I'm just not liking what I am seeing based on the direction they are taking the game.

I really hate it when they change voice actors to fit the story, I can only hope this guy's voice for Payne is at least close to James McCaffrey.

Seriously, I hope they don't pull this crap on us like what Blizzard did with Raynor. I mean really, why did they change someone who sounded like a leader with bad a$$ attitude with someone who just sounds like a hillbilly jerk-off. I don't care if it's suppose to fit the story in Starcraft, I will forever be pissed that they changed Raynor's voice. Maybe I'll grow into it, but this hillbilly Raynor isn't the same Raynor I used to know.

Maybe they should have just gone with a different name and let Remedy deal with Max Payne after they are done with AW. Just let the name go and invent a new character. They could still use the bullet time and all.

Well maybe it sells better with Max Payne name on the box.

Great graphics though.
