Can we go prone in this one? Seriously the only game I can think of where the sniper class didn't need prone is Killzone 2 since it gets an invisibility cloak.

I'd also like to see a straight TDM game type this time around that doesn't have vehicles in it. Maybe a smaller version of the map to play in with lower player counts to focus specifically on kicking each others butts and not crates of gold. I hated the second you spawn"RUN TO THE TANK and TEAM KILL ANYONE WHO OPPOSES YOU!" Tanks and helicopters = how you get first place in BFBC.

I guess I'm just a fan of the guns doing the talking. :(

I finnish in first place quite often when I playe Bad Company, and I only use the tank or helicopter when the situation calls for it, and if it's not occupied of course. Sure, you can get a lot of kills with the tank and helicopter, but you can get atleast the same amount of kills as a foot soldier. It's all about how you read the specific situation and adopt to it.

Yeah I agree with you.I would only use the tanks as transportation and nothing else,well maybe I would booby trap one sometimes and wait for some monkey to climb in.

Zlatko, if you want TDM, go play Call of Duty. Battlefield has always been about combined arms between infantry and vehicles.

Yea, tanks are going to have the advantage. It's a 60 ton armored behemoth designed to crush you like an insect.

I played hundreds of hours in both Battlefield 2 and Battlefield: BC, and I would hardly say that BC is "crap". It misses some of the best elements from Battlefield 2, but at the same time it has destruction (which I think adds a lot) and some great maps. Also, although I was a big sceptic of Goldrush at first, I think it's better suited a lower amount of players than Conquest. The intesity of the fights in Goldrush when they're at their best is just insane.

BFBC was a blast. I just stopped playing it a couple months ago and still get the itch to revisit it. It definitely has it's share of issues (frame rate, video tearing, unstable servers "at times", etc) but it is such an adrenaline rush when you ran to a building to flip a crate or run for cover only to have the building torn down around you.

It gave you the feeling of being in an actual warzone. My only complaints other than performance issues, which ALL games have, is the ability to not go prone and removal of parachutes. I hope they are put back into BFBC2.

I cant wait for this sequel. Next to COD4 it is "my" (my = my opinion and not stating it as a fact for all. Just thought I'd make that clear as to no offend anyone. ;) ) favorite shooter and I have played them all.

yep. I can understand why battlefield:mc was 'dumbed down' for the ps2/xbox but even that had more 'features' than bc.

My biggest problems with bc were:

- only shipping with 1 mode but sounds like they have learnt from that mistake + with them including conquest at a later date (altho the conquest maps and layouts sucked :()

- the hit detection/amount of bullets to kill someone. bf:mc actually had a trophy for 4 (or might have been 5) kills with 1 magazine in an assualt rifle. theres no chance you could pull that off on bc no matter how good a shot you were!

- lack of private rooms or clan support. There doesn't need to be any heavy clan support as such, but even mc offered this. They should just realise that a lot of ppl play bf cus it's a tactical game thats great to play as a whole team of mates (and not just a group of 4 in a team of 12!)

- The ranking system was cool in past games cus u needed certain points but also points per hour and certain badges. Obv some people just rank cheated in order to get badges and medals but for the ppl who played properly it was a really fun system that even after getting top rank, you had to be consistently good in order to keep it

I don't like the grain filter neither, why would you take a good looking game and make it all grainy (I'm looking at you "The Lost and Dammed") if you insist on having it in your game at least give me an option to turn it off like Mass Effect did instead of forcing it on me.

For those who didn't know/notice in BC1 when you are playing there is artificial grain added to the image
