Batman Arkham Asylum site opens, new screens

The countdown is finally over and a batch of new screens are available on the official site of Rocksteady Studios.

Rocksteady Studios is currently working on its next exciting title, Batman Arkham Asylum for the Xbox360, PS3, and PC.

Based on the core BATMAN license, experience a unique, dark and atmospheric adventure that will take you to the depths of ARKHAM ASYLUM. Move in the shadows, instigate fear amongst your enemies and confront The Joker and GOTHAM CITY's most notorious villains who have taken over the asylum. Use a wide range of Batman gadgets and abilities as you become the invisible predator and attempt to foil the Joker's demented scheme.

1.4 - Guys, I wish you not to get your hopes up.
There is no guarantee this game will be great as the screen shots try to tell. The same thing happened 6 years ago in BATMAN: Dark Tomorrow. Check this game out http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... and you will know what I mean. It was based on the comic and it had the dark feeling but it failed to deliver that. The gameplay got repetitive and the camera sucked although the cut-scenes were decent (with disappointing ending). I know it's coming from a different developer team but let's wait for gameplay footages.

Nice character models. I hope there are more bat suit color options than the gray.

The current DK movie suit is the greatest IMO.

since my Sega Gamegear. Batman Returns.

A first-person Batman? Oh hell no! Got enough FPS experiences thank you very much (I'm a bit pissed that new James Bond game is first person) No point being a legendary character if you can't see him in my opinion.

I understand what you are saying but there isn't a better Bond experience to date that Goldeneye.

With Quantum of Solace, I think you will find yourself popping in and out of 3rd person enough to keep that mental link.

Looks good, but we know looks can be deceiving. I'll wait to play a demo or something. Actually, what is everyone's favorite Batman game? Mine would be between Batman and Batman Returns on the Megadrive/Genesis. I still remember the brilliant gothic music! I did have Batman Returns on the Mega-CD but does driving stages were bloody hard.
