Elite dev 'intentionally gone quiet' on The Outsider

Legendary Elite co-creator and Frontier chief David Braben has "intentionally gone quiet" on upcoming multiplatform "techno thriller" The Outsider in order to prevent it from becoming old.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com today during a Nintendo press event to promote WiiWare and DSiWare games, including Frontier's LostWinds sequel, Braben insisted he won't start talking about it again until the time is right.

When asked for an update on the game, Braben replied: "Oh it's very exciting. One of the problems with games, especially games with long development periods, is if you can talk about them all of the time it becomes old."
