I look at it this way. Uncharted series was so good that they redone everything TR was about & made it like Uncharted but darker with added stuff. That alone shows u that TR took notes from Uncharted & made it the game it is now. Funny thing is people started downplaying Uncharted & saying TR has surpassed it but all that did was PUMP up Naughty Dog to create a more Darker game with The Last Of Us which, keep in mind was their 1st attempt at creating something this dark & gory & we know how that turned out. TLOU triumphed TR in every aspect & Naughty Dog brang another GOTY award to backup their claim of best devs in the gaming industry.

U can bet Uncharted 4 will have a crazy overhaul with new features that will blow our minds when they show it off for the 1st time at the VGX Awards & E3 they will just leave ppl breathless.

Come on their track record has been amazing, Crysal Dynamics have had to reboot Tomb Raider twice and even now despite being a good game it's a shadow of it's former self "Tomb Raider" wise, least Uncharted has stuck to it's roots over the last 4 games (including the prequel done by a different studio).

From the teasers we've seen on the new Tomb Raider I get the impression (first impressions) that's it's going to continue it's over the top action theme we saw in the first one which to me isn't Tomb Raider.

So yeah Uncharted 4 hands down.

Don't take this out of context but if the unfortunate happened and the Tomb Raider sequel didn't do so well I wouldn't be bothered, least then they might reboot it again and actually make a Tomb Raider game with puzzles and stuff rather then trying to hard to be Uncharted.

Its not a stretch of the imagination at all to think this game could bomb. Just because Xbox owners are dancing in the streets over this newsdoesnt mean everyone is. Playstation and PC gamers are being ignored and thats a lot of gamers to say we dont need your sale to.

This is a franchise that was only recently resurrected from obscurity. Its was only one good game from going away for a long time and it could still happen if this game pisses away all the good will the last one got.

There's a difference between wanting or hoping something fails and don't mind it.

I bought the PS3 reboot and enjoyed it, now a PS4 owner I know I won't be able to play it at launch and some time after. If it bombs, I really don't mind, it's not on my system.

I truly hope this game's a treat for X1 owners and maybe then I'll bother looking at it when it launches and drops to 20-30$ on PS4.

ND Uncharted 4 will be by far superior anyway.

I have to disagree with Tomb Raider being a shadow of it's former self. I've played every single major Tomb Raider game and the reboot is my favorite by far. This comes from someone who hasn't played any of the Uncharted games so I didn't have to get over any similarities between both games (since you said it tries to be Uncharted).

After having played The Last of us (my favorite game of the year so far) I definately can't wait to check out the Uncharted games and especially Uncharted 4. I'm looking foreward to both of those games and I don't see a reason to choose only one of them.

I just really didn't like how they changed it. She used to be a Bad Ass but now she's just not. It's so bad in this sense that you could actually rename things in the game, including the games name it's self and you wouldn't even know it was actually a Tomb Raider game.

Instead of getting a proper reboot of Tomb Raider with actual TR game elements of solving puzzles, surviving traps, wildlife and other dangerous encounters we get an hub based Uncharted clone on steroids

Remember this doesn't mean Tomb Raider is a crap game, it's a good game for what it is but it's just sad to see people would rather have companies change a franchise completely instead of just wanting a new IP. You could have a new game and old fans of that franchise would have a game which sticks to it's franchise roots...everyone wins.

Why though? We don't have enough games today like the old Tomb Raider games, as I've said when you have something like Tomb Raider trying to be like Uncharted it's not shaking things up, it's a game trying too hard to copy another. It didn't really offer anything new.

For example look at the health system, this game was supposed to be about "survival" yet when you have a perfect gameplay mechanic in the old games, the Med-Kits which would go alongside the survival theme of this game we get easy peasy regenerating health..I mean what the hell.

I could easily see them "shaking things up" with a reboot like the old games. It would be a nice break from all the over the top shooters we have today

This exclusive deal will garner it hype and msoft advertisement will move systems. and it will sell as the uncharted for xb0x one. I'm a big fan of ND and the Uncharted Series. But CD showed with TR: The Definitive Edition that they have the graphical chops to compete with ND as far as graphics are concerned. The Last OF Us Remastered, imo, does not look as good as TR: The Definitive Edition most likely because it was ported from the PS3. I'm on my first play through of TLOUR. I love the story but I'm a little disappointed with the graphics and game play. So far, I prefer the game play of TR. That said, imo, the Uncharted series game play wise blows both games away and I expect Uncharted 4 to be graphically superior to the next TR game.

While Naughty Dog has the odds in its corner and a really talented team vs Crystal, nobody will ever know until both games release. It's that simple therefore making this article null and void. Too that I say: Shame on you! You should've known better.

To Microsoft I would say: You're looking for action-adventure to add to your portfolio? You're looking for the wrong thing. Uncharted isn't action-adventure. You're going to have to look elsewhere. From where I'm standing now, Tomb Raider isn't going to be the boost you think it will be, nor will is it meet the promise you made to Crystal Dynamics. Uncharted 4 is going to hurt pretty bad. Especially is Naughty Dog can produce the Uncharted Trilogy Remastered on PS4, the fanbase will invest in PlayStation and only the faithful will get Tomb Raider, just as the faithful stick with Wii U through it all, and Wii U alone. Uncharted wins easy. Tomb Raider's single player was pretty damn amazing I'll admit... that multiplayer though? TERRIBLE.

Uncharted has always had amazing single player and Uncharted 2 MP was outstanding... they went a bit wrong with Uncharted 3's MP... I think they have learned from their mistakes and the fans were very vocal about the new additions they hated in Uncharted 3's MP. I can see ND incorporating some of The Last of Us multiplayer concepts in Uncharted also.

The last Tomb Raider was better than Uncharted 3. I would rather look at Laura Croft as well. Tomb Raider had weapon upgrades and attachments in single player. Also the puzzles were OPTIONAL, which is a huge plus. You could raid a tomb, and slow down the gameplay yourself and figure out a puzzle IF YOU WANTED too, or you could skip those sections entirely and keep the action going. The puzzles in all Uncharted games are smack dab right in the middle of the campaign and are unavoidable which slows down the momentum of the game. Same with God of War games. Some puzzles are harder than others, but even if easy. Your still going through the motions and slows down the game. Uncharted is big set piece moments,Cut scenes, Platforming, rinse and repeat. Tomb Raider had better actual game play. People who disagree are the same who like the endings in Uncharted games, and have ND so far crammed up their Ass they can't think straight anyway. So it doesn't bother me. Lazarevic boss fight in UC2 was pure crap, and shooting blue Mutants with Arrows was even more crap. Rise of the Tomb Raider ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!

That said Uncharted will absolutely beat out TR. Tomb Raider on ALL 4 SYSTEMS this gen and last barely touch one Uncharted games sales that was on one system. And that's with a almost maxed out install base.

By the time this happens Ps4 will be close to 30 million units sold and probably still doubling Xbox One's numbers. And Uncharted is a beloved franchise while the new Tomb Raider is just getting started.

Uncharted, no question. Especially now that Tomb Raider has to be compromised to run on X1.

It's not even a competition. Although both games will be great, Uncharted by far is better in every form.
