The game IS still broken, admittedly I play it on the PS3, maybe my old PS3 can't take it, I assume it gets too hot and that's why it freezes on me FIVE TIMES A SESSION, that's how many times it crashed on me last night, I only played for 2 hours

I even looked online and read how deleting/reinstalling the game data "may" help, it didn't

What annoys me the most is ALL the other games I own/play run fine, except BF4

Sony must have a HUGE database of error reports just for BF4 alone

Five times a session is unacceptable, even by broken game standards. Have you emailed EA support? Maybe they can send you out a new disk or offer you something else?

Yeah, I doubt they'll offer me any help, I don't think I even have the receipt of purchase anymore

I assume they'll tell me (after gathering the information from me) that my PS3 hard-drive is the problem, "it's not the original hdd that come with your PS3 so we can't help you"

dude.. please KILL that stupis a@$ "this game is still broken" crap, because that just isn't true like the article says.. it WORLDS better than what it was and will be made even better in Sep. Thank God for DICE LA and the immense about of stuff that they have put into the game. the CTE program is a great idea and should be put in every EA shooter going forward..

I'M TELLING YOU IT'S BROKEN, I don't use the internet to post made up rubbish so people will agree/like me, when I say "my copy of BF4 is broken" it's because my copy of BF4..... is broken, and it's not just me, a buddy I play BF4 with experiences the same problems

You can argue that when you play BF4 the game runs fine, great, i'm glad someone can play 1-2 round of conquest without the game freezing on them, that's how games should be, BUT I CAN'T

If anyone plays BF4 on the PS3 throw me a friend invite, i'm playing tonight, you can see for yourself

After preordering BF3 and getting all those endless problems and such a terrible and broken game I learned. Battlefield or any game with DICE on the box has no future with me. I'm surprised this series is still charging though as its some quality title that isn't always a broken piece of crap. Oh well different strokes for different folks I guess.

And keep mp map packs free on it, like it use to be, before BF3. Yeah, I know, like that's gonna ever happen again. It is the only reason I allowed my friend to talk me into giving BF a try though, back on PS3 with Bad Company 2. It made the switch over smoother, and made DICE/EA look like better people than Activision and their devs. Now, they're just tyring to be Activision, from the subscription based Premium to the nonstop $$ map packs and other $$DLC.

Well the game was VERY obviously rushed, and the priorities for what had to be sacrificed to do so was ALL wrong (seems visuals took the lead ahead of stability and netcode) But in a perfect world where the game works and games are smooth and a systems are running like they should, i only have a few things i think they should fix that end up making a MASSIVE difference.

1) Less Guns please! - now i know a good selection of guns is vital for any shooter, especially one online centric, but IMO BF3/BF4 just have too many, hell most of them share the EXACT SAME STATS they just look a bit different or have -/+ 1-2 bullets in the clip. it makes most of the unlocks useless pretty much wasting lots of time with no reward, and i don't like that.

2) Bring Back Accurate Weapon Stats - now in BFBC 1/2 they had very clear and informative weapons stats that gave you a very good idea of what to expect once you spawn with that loadout. Now in BF3/BF4 they are severely gimped and are next to useless. for range we just get a very vague "short/medium/far/very far" which tells me very little when the maps can span for 1000's of meters, then the damage meter, this thing!, so for the very first sniper rifle the damage is at max, yet it takes 2-4 shots to kill someone, then we go down the road and another rifle again with the same max stats somehow kills people in one shot, so there's more than half available damage in weapons that is not being accounted for in the damn meter.

3) Increase size of Rush maps - again in BFBC 1/2 and even some BF3 maps, the rush mode was rather expansive and open, but for some reason in BF4 where we can now do bigger maps and more people, they've changed the maps to super constrained linear maps that give you pretty much no freedom and automatically creates a choke point for any attacking team.

4) Bring back laser guided airstrikes - Now i play recon myself, but even i hate having far too many snipers and campers on any given team and it happens far too often on BF3/4. airstrikes from BFBC 1/2 ailed this problem by quickly dispersing/disposing of the threat and keeping the game moving forward.

5) Get rid of the premium only items - i get that people don't have time to unlock everything and premium gives them a shortcut for that, i'm fine with that, butt then you start making premium only weapons, and some of them are pretty damn powerful. This pretty much turns the game into a pay to win situation. I can't count how many times i've died in some very bullshit way just to find out it was by some premium user with a unique premium weapon

Address these and i'll be a diehard fan of the series, but as it is i just always wonder what if
