The studio behind Dreamfall Chapters would love to make a Wii U game

The developers behind "Dreamfall Chapters" tweeted that they'll love to make a Wii U game.

Just make it a really good action-adventure game instead of a cheap platformer or puzzle or racer, and you'll have my interest.

Make it an RPG with a good storyline, action combat instead of turn-based, and incredible music, however, and you'll have my undivided attention.

Yeah, I've honestly gotten a little bored of platformer and puzzle style games, I could use a good 3rd person action adventure game. I love my wii u, but I really need a good action game, and I'm not looking at fighter or shooters, maybe like a dark souls kind of game.

do you guys even know what kind of games the devs make or do you just lose your mind when you hear a 3rd party interested in wii u.
and obviously i see how saturated wii u is with platformers but arent they the same thing you guys defend to death as the ONLY thing that remains fun in gaming?because psxb rpgs supposedly suck when theyre not coming to the wii u.
according to most nintendo fanboys
and if theyre so very interested in the wii u why the hell is dreamfall not coming to it?
this is all just to avoid saying that wii u is for a fact failing as a console and we have no intention of investing time and resources in it.
we'll consider it the day it is deemed sucessfull.

@vishmarx

"and if theyre so very interested in the wii u why the hell is dreamfall not coming to it?"

Perhaps because Sony payed for timed console exclusivity? Just saying its a possibility.

KaladinStormblessed3534d ago

And where are you getting "most nintendo fanboys?" I'm pretty sure you don't know Most nintendo fanboys or what they've said. So keep yor opinion to yourself no one wants to hear it.

Another developer full of crap trying to save face. Instead of trying to BS other people, it would be honest if they just admitted they took money to make it PS4 console exclusive and move on. I'm not blaming them for taking money (I like money too), but just don't try and BS their way out of it.

vishmarx3534d ago

yes because wii u version would have sold so much better than ps4 version that sony had to pay to keep it from happening.
Damn wii ! U scary!!

lilbroRx3534d ago

Blegh, they are just trying to save face at this point. Talk is cheap.

They've already shown that what they are saying is not true.

XiMasterChief3534d ago

Really. Is that why u canned it version.

KaladinStormblessed3534d ago

@vishmarx No actually I don't just defend platformers as the "only thing that remains fun in gaming" That's just what all you annoying pricks think nintendo owners think. I play any game I think is fun, and I'm into action games, I spend most of my time playing AC4 on my WiiU. So think before you speak. I'm just saying that it would be nice if some developers or indie's made an action style game. Stop being a stereotypical loser and use your brain. It's people like you that ruin the gaming community.

Dreamfall Chapters Book Three Releases on Steam

Serena Nelson writes: "As a refresher, Dreamfall Chapters follows the exploits of Zoe Castillo and Kian Alvane as they unravel the mysteries and conspiracies in Stark and Arcadia respectively. The third book, Realms, takes off right where the second left off. So, if you need a refresher course, you can always play through the previous chapters. Although, it would most likely have a recap like the second did."

Going Episodic: The Rise of Piecemeal Games

Serena Nelson writes: "Love it or hate it, episodic games are here to stay. Especially with regards to crowdfunding games. We've seen a fair number recently have to split their game into two or more parts for one reason or another and there's been a decent amount of backlash against cutting a game up into bite-sized chunks. With the recent announcement of Celestial Tear: Demon's Revenge getting an episodic release I thought now would be a good time to go over the pros and cons for doing this."
