The developers behind "Dreamfall Chapters" tweeted that they'll love to make a Wii U game.
".@parakarry64 We would love to make a WiiU game. Something that fits the platform better than #Dreamfall #Chapters. We have some ideas!"
Serena Nelson writes: "As a refresher, Dreamfall Chapters follows the exploits of Zoe Castillo and Kian Alvane as they unravel the mysteries and conspiracies in Stark and Arcadia respectively. The third book, Realms, takes off right where the second left off. So, if you need a refresher course, you can always play through the previous chapters. Although, it would most likely have a recap like the second did."
Serena Nelson writes: "Love it or hate it, episodic games are here to stay. Especially with regards to crowdfunding games. We've seen a fair number recently have to split their game into two or more parts for one reason or another and there's been a decent amount of backlash against cutting a game up into bite-sized chunks. With the recent announcement of Celestial Tear: Demon's Revenge getting an episodic release I thought now would be a good time to go over the pros and cons for doing this."
Amanda French writes: "Ragnar Tørnquist is the founder of the Norwegian indie game studio, Red Thread Games, and also the writer and director of the recent episodic adventure game, Dreamfall Chapters (which you can see our review for.) Ragnar made a name for himself in adventure gaming, with The Longest Journey series being considered a staple in the point-and-click genre. Not only that, he has been influential in the MMORPG world as well, doing significant writing for Anarchy Online, as well as creating The Secret World."
Just make it a really good action-adventure game instead of a cheap platformer or puzzle or racer, and you'll have my interest.
Make it an RPG with a good storyline, action combat instead of turn-based, and incredible music, however, and you'll have my undivided attention.
Blegh, they are just trying to save face at this point. Talk is cheap.
They've already shown that what they are saying is not true.
Really. Is that why u canned it version.
@vishmarx No actually I don't just defend platformers as the "only thing that remains fun in gaming" That's just what all you annoying pricks think nintendo owners think. I play any game I think is fun, and I'm into action games, I spend most of my time playing AC4 on my WiiU. So think before you speak. I'm just saying that it would be nice if some developers or indie's made an action style game. Stop being a stereotypical loser and use your brain. It's people like you that ruin the gaming community.
