The Evil Within will be 15-20 hours long

The Evil Within's campaign will last most players 15-20 hours, Bethesda has revealed.

That's a good amount of time for a horror game like this. Many people want their games to be super long, but 15-20 is perfect for a linear experience for myself. 10 hours can be even good.

Resident Evil was about 6 hours on average(not taking into account speed runs of 2-3 hours) so 15-20 hours first play through sounds good to me.

I've heard 15-20 hours before with games and they were nowhere near that. If this game is this long, I'm fine with that. Hopefully has good replayability too. Day one for this guy!

They're nowhere near that because usually a player will suck and die a lot on his first playthrough trying to figure his way through.

It took me 30 hours first time in dead space 3 after exploring everything and i only died 5 or 6 times and 14 the second time , anyway as long as this game has a replay value , i will be playing it for a long long time , i finished resident evil 4 over 100 times on ps2 , it was awesome and i expect mikami to deliver another awesome experience like it :)

I've beaten RE2 in 4 hours 5 minutes and it's my favorite of the series. If the game is scary enough, it could be 8 hours long and still take me the better part of 2 months to beat it, a la silent hill 2 ...

Getting The Order, though it isn't a horror game... It may have werewolves or such, but it's more like RE 5/6 than RE 1/2. An 3rd person shooter with some horror elements.

So here is another game they want us to pay $3.00 to $4.00 dollars a hour, I wanted this game bad, but a game should be least $2.00 a hour to be worth the $60 dollar price!!!! Games are getting shorter n shorter,...

Lol, do you know how long most games were in the 90's? No, they're not getting shorter. If you want a super long game to play with animals in the woods, go play Skyrim, but it gets boring fast. A game don't need to be long, in order to be excellent or worth the price.

YESSSSS perfect... I was hoping for that type of length, when they mentioned old school horror with this game I was afraid it would bring old school length back like 4-6 hours long . I'm glad it seems to be more like Resident Evil 4 length, which took me just about 20 hours first time through .

Can't wait for this game :D ! I've loved horror games so much since RE1 and 15 hours is more than enough for me. I remember beating RE2 a lot back in the PS1 days, there was this special price you get if finish it in less than 2 or 3 hours, if I remember right.

But still, even if only few hours for playthrough...that game kept me returning to it over and over again.
