I’m not gonna say that 2014 hasn't been a good year for games, but I won’t argue against it either. While we got to see a lot of cool shiz at E3 it also brought a lot of bad news preceding and during, with almost every major title deayed to 2015. Following, are in no particular order, the games we wont get to see till next year.
Given the medium's wild diversity, this primer of the essential video games everyone should try is a good place to start.
I can't fk with this list. They missed on alot of games probably before the writers times. Also I know people loved some portal but I was never a fan.
Tomb Raider 1
Driver 1
Abe’s Odyssey
FF6
King of Fighters 94
Mortal Kombat OG
LINK 2 the past
Street Fighter 2
Resident Evil 1
Infinite but not the first two games? Witcher 3 but not the first two games?? GTA V but not literally any of the games before it??? Portal 2 but not the first? Also if you're going to play Shadow of The Colossus play the remaster and not the remake. Can't say I disagree with the list but my man it's all over the place.
Awesome list! Hot take on Fear (and it's hard af expansion Persaus Mandate!) Bioshock Infinite is stellar, so is the Witcher 3 and you nailed it by having Ocarina of Time. So many fantastic games! Gotta play 'em all! Next one on my list is Prey after I beat Dead Space 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction.
"Sony is missing out on a hugely profitable opportunity by ignoring fan demands for a Bloodborne remaster and PC port," says Ahmed from eXputer.
Bloodborne came out on the PS4. It is owned by From Software. What missed opportunity? I am sure the people at From Software know what they are doing. Especially since they are hiring devs instead of laying them off.
Maybe do an article about that instead of writing a hit piece on them acting like they don't know how to run their business.
It will be a launch title on PS6 just like the remake of Demon's Souls for PS5 launch
Batman: Arkham Knight wasn't in the best shape when it swooped onto Switch at the end of last year. Fortunately, the game has today received a monster 16GB update, one that's guaranteed to fix all of its problems, right? Well...
Another rushed port job, it's disappointing to see better looking games run/perform better than a game from 2015
Dummying down a game that is meant to run on XB1 and PS4 is going to be challenging to run on a system that is probably as powerful as a PS3. I give them a congrats for bringing it to the Switch and I hope this challenge pays off for them. As for me grabbing Arkham Knight on the Switch I am good I have the PS4 version.
Batman: Arkham Knight Still Runs Poorly On Switch Despite Massive Update........ But is still a better game than suicide squad *fixed the title*
I am fine with the delays, as even after they got delayed, there is still so much to play. This is one time where I think they needed to clear out the holiday line up just for certain games to survive.
Smart move overall.
I'd rather have a well polished game than a buggy rushed product
All thanks to DX12
Delays are not horrible we have plenty of great games coming out this year.
Dragon Age
Forza horizon 2
LOTR
Lords of the Fallen
Destiny
minecraft :D (New Consoles)
Halo MCC
sunset overdrive
Diablo 3 expansion for console
Do we really need more this year i will have a backlog already already have all those games payed off and im excited for when they come out.
Anyway, 2015 is going to be one of the best years in history if not the best:
Batman: AK, Dying Light, Witcher 3, Bloodborne, Quantum Break, Uncharted 4, Halo 5, Evolve, The Division, The Order 1886, Scalebound, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, No Mans Sky, Half-life 3, MGS5, Mortal Combat X, Homefront, Persona 5
