From Aaryn Flynn, BioWare Studio General Manager
After nearly 16 years of game development at BioWare, Executive Producer Casey Hudson has made the decision to move on from BioWare and enter a new stage of his career. We thank Casey for his hard work and dedication as we look back on his time with BioWare.
Former BioWare General Manager & VP Casey Hudson has announced Humanoid Studios, a new game developer aiming to "[build] something special."
Proper RPG's like old bioware Sony should sign his studio they need some RPG studios
Bioware blog: "We strive for all of our studios to be places where talented creative people come to do career-defining work. A dimension of this ambition is that sometimes those people want to try something different. Casey Hudson, GM, BioWare and Mark Darrah, Executive Producer, Dragon Age are two of those people and they have decided to move on from BioWare."
I have so little faith in Bioware at this point that I don't even think they'll be able to handle the Mass Effect Remaster properly. It is beyond sad what happened to that studio.
BioWare said that Anthem will have a 'big' critical path story, though it will have less finality than what Dragon Age or Mass Effect fans might be used to since it will be updated over time. When talking about their next games, they didn't rule out the chance they'd be multiplayer-centric, too.
From what little I've heard about the man, all I can really say about this news is - YEAH!
Not that he likely wont be replaced by another "Yes Man" who'll put a game's release date before its production quality.
Thanks for being one of the people who had a MAIN role in ruining Mass Effect Casey....oh don't forget the ending aswell
Don't come back
Yes Hell Yes
you won't be missed casey!
