I think mostly Zelda fans want this as oppose to everyone, but I'm getting it since my friend and I want to do co-op... too bad we HAVE to be in the same house to do it though. :/

Ballsack3543d ago

I don't want it on ps4

Zelda is tailor made for the wii u controller

I will buy a wii u when this game is released... Never thought I'd buy one but the wii u is starting to impress me now

UltraNova3543d ago

The wii u is quickly turning into something like that itch on the back of your head...you will scratch it eventually.. Resistance is futile!

ShinMaster3543d ago (Edited 3543d ago )

Not a lot of people bought the last two Zelda games.

Well, WWHD aside, Skyward Sword sold less than 3.8 million. It's not a bad number, but for a Zelda game, it's on the lower end and falls bellow 8 other Zelda games.
And Skyward Sword was released on the Wii, which was Nintendo's BEST SELLING home console of all time.
I'm not sure what it is, but it sure says something about... something...

greenlantern28143543d ago

You should it is a lot of fun. And that is what Nintendo should focus on making fun games. Mario U and MK8 are a blast to play with the family, or friends.

SilentNegotiator3543d ago (Edited 3543d ago )

I have a Ps4 and I'm not even remotely interested in this game. It isn't the presence of Zelda characters that make a great Zelda game, it's the gameplay, and it just looks like Dynasty Warriors.

randomass1713543d ago

Lots of Zelda fans seem interested so the brand is having some influence. I've only just gotten into Zelda myself so I think it will be a great way to get introduced to some of the previous game characters and play my first Warriors game in years. Like I said I think you need to be into Zelda to really want this game and it seems like you're not all that interested in Wii U. :P

Scatpants3543d ago

Yeah I have zero desire to play Hyrule Warriors. When the real Zelda comes out I might break down and pick up a WiiU though.

KingKelloggTheWH3543d ago

I Love Zelda, but I won't touch Hyrule Warriors.

I am tired of the Warrior games, and I see people complaining about them 24/7 but then this came out, and some reason people are hyping it?! It looks just like all the other warrior games! Just with a shiny new skin, why should we be excited for it? Just because it has the name Zelda in it, no thank you.

TekoIie3543d ago (Edited 3543d ago )

I've had the exact same reaction as you. I have friends getting excited for this game and I say the same thing every time.

If you're looking forward to this game so much I know a way for you to play it early and cheaper: http://www.amazon.com/Warri...

SimonSmith3543d ago

I have never been a fan of the Warriors games but I love Zelda and that is really my only reason for wanting Hyrule Warriors plus my brother in law is looking forward to the co-op.

FlameHawk3543d ago

Am I the only one who isn't interested in this? It's just Dynasty Warriors with Zelda skin, seriously. I'm only looking forward to Xenoblade Chronicles X on Wii U.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory3543d ago (Edited 3543d ago )

" It's just Dynasty Warriors with Zelda skin"

SMH ........

FlameHawk3543d ago (Edited 3543d ago )

Explain to me how it isn't? It's made by the Dynasty Warriors developers who make Dynasty Warriors, so tell me how are they not going to be similar? Seriously? Instead of saying SMH, tell me how different it is other than Dynasty Warriors with Zelda skin. It's even considered a spin off of the Dynasty Warriors series. I mean there intention is to make it like Dynasty Warriors.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory3543d ago (Edited 3543d ago )

Z-Targeting from Zelda series
Fight Zelda Giantic Bosses
Treasure Chest - Zelda Items
It has it own original story and characters

It not a spin off Dynasty Warriors series it a Spin off of the Zelda series. It just a collaboration and using the hack n slash gameplay with Zelda series action mechanics such as Z-Targeting dodging and rolling.

Sm00thNinja3543d ago

Your foolish to think this is anything but a dynasty warriors reskin. I wanted to think the same thing about Dynasty Warriors Gundam. Still I'm a fan of the endless cannon fodder wave gameplay so ill be picking this up

SilentNegotiator3543d ago

So, targeting and Zelda characters with Zelda items. Did you even convince yourself?

XBOne - Fable Legends, Quantum Break
WiiU - Zelda, Star Fox

randomass1713543d ago

Wii U also has Smash Bros., Bayonetta and Splatoon. I think XB1 is topped by Wii U in exclusives and it's also trumped on third parties by PS4. I like XB1's upcoming exclusives but I don't think they are as good as Nintendo's, let alone Sony's.

Savsky3543d ago (Edited 3543d ago )

Splatoon looks dumb.

Go ahead, give me a disagree. But Splatoon doesn't look as "innovative" as people are saying, and looks very boring and uninteresting.

randomass1713543d ago

I can't think of very many family friendly shooters out there and this is one that's made by Nintendo. Kinda like a Little Big Planet paintball shooter. I don't know how innovative it is but it looks like a really fun spin on the shooter genre.

Yoko Taro Passes Respect; Says Stellar Blade Is "Much Better" Than Nier: Automata

Stellar Blade's creative director, Hyung Tae Kim, has also claimed that the game is deeply inspired by Nier: Automata.

shadowhaxor7h ago

I feel like Yoko is downgrading Automata because he has expressed multiple times he'd like to revisit the universe, but Squenix hasn't been keen about it. We know he loves 2B and would love to take her out for another spin, so maybe this is how he gets the company to think about it.

gold_drake6h ago

u do realise that Square made Nier a franchise after Automata right?

Taro is downplaying it cause hes not a snob like most of the directors that think their games are gods gifts to the human race.

he said the same thing when being interviewed during the development of Automata too, that he couldnt have done it without the devs.

hes just a humble guy rly.

shadowhaxor5h ago

I mean, Neir existed before Automata with both OG Niers and Drakenguard. I don't count NieR Replicant, since it's a remake of the OG games. Sure, we have Reincarnation, which is still stuck on mobile devices (quite a damned shame). I just remember Taro saying he'd love to revisit Automata if Square Enix lets him. I do recall there was supposed to be a sequel to Automata, but it wasn't confirmed and I'd imagine it was just for Reincarnation.

Enjoy Taro, he seems like a cool guy, who loves the ladies and is humble. But damn, don't put down one of your masterpieces.

I really liked Automata and cannot wait for Stellar Blade

isarai1h ago

I get he's giving them some credit, but i strongly disagree based on the demo. I honestly don't think any aspect of it feels good, it's not bad, it's just kinda ok but definitely a little jank. Also the souls like formula it is adopting does not help it imo. I was looking forward to this for years, now im just kinda let down honestly 🫤

H938m ago

Man exputer can you stop putting words like that after someone's name, i read Yoko Taro Passes and just went blank

Snookies1211m ago

Same... Awful way to word that title's beginning.

Hereandthere32m ago

Thats because Sony had a heavy hand in funding and developing this game.

Dragon Ball FighterZ's Rollback Update Was Too Little Too Late

Daniyal from eXputer: "Dragon Ball FighterZ was so close to a revival but ineffective communication and a dubious launch of an anticipated update botched that hope."
