These Beautiful GTA V Lightning Strike Photos Will Make You Want The Remake Now

An Imgur user has created a gallery showing the wrath of mother nature in GTA V. Using precision timing, the user has captured some brilliant shots of lightning strikes across Blaine County. Seeing these photos makes us wonder how good GTA V is going to look on PS4, Xbox One and PC. How Rockstar squeezed so much power out of the last generation machines is anyone’s guess. GTA V could very well be the most technically accomplished open-world gaming has ever seen.

If there is SP DLC included AND a big difference between versions, I may pick it up. But, it still stinks that they insisted they would only release it on last gen systems to get us all to buy it back then.

Allsystemgamer3555d ago

There is a big difference between the last and current gen versions. Just look up the comparisons.

mr2333555d ago

The screens do show great graphics, but we've all been down that road before. I'll wait for the final product to come out. Besides, that alone isn't enough for me to get a game I already finished. There should be more content.

Does look pretty damn good!

KwietStorm_BLM3555d ago (Edited 3555d ago )

They didn't insist it would only release on last gen systems. They said it's all they were focused on at the time. Actually, at one of their investors meetings, they all but confirmed next gen releases would be coming. Anyone could have guessed it would happen at some point. And let's be realistic. Rockstar doesn't have to "make" anybody feel inclined to buy GTA.

Why does the title say remake when it's actually a remaster?

Bodge3554d ago

It's neither... This is the version that has been in development all along. The 360 and PS3 versions were toned down versions of it.

gillri3555d ago

The most stunning achievement in the history of games getting a game that big and good looking on 8/9 year old hardware

i was on it yesterday and jumped when a huge lighting bolt struck i had my turtle beachs on full its really cool almost like the real thing

Einhert3555d ago

Pirating it first on PC to see if it actually works because they never bothered fixing GTA IV so that makes me cautious.

If it works I will buy it.

Allsystemgamer3555d ago

I don't see why you're getting disagrees. I bought GTAIV on PC and exceeded the recommendation and it still ran like ass. It still does.

Lon3wolf3555d ago

I have faith in this as it was re-done from the ground up for PC/Next Gen Consoles, hopefully it won't be misplaced. GTA 4 was bad at first, really fixed now.

SteamPowered3555d ago

Are you for real? I played TONS of GTAIV with a buttload of mods ( iron man, superman, batmobile, delorean, Ice Enhancer). The only issues I had were related to using certain Mods during cut scenes.

Audiggity3555d ago

Yeah, I agree... no idea why people whine about GTA IV on PC so much. The biggest issue was Games for Windows. Once you "sidestepped" that, it ran perfectly. Even with mods and without an ultra-powerful PC.

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing692d ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

Profchaos2d ago

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy852d ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

Demetrius1d 17h ago

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
