Zero Dawn sold really well so I’m not sure this belongs. The second game released next to a big game again and it hurt it some I forget what it was though, oh yeah Elden Ring .
But a good game is a good game to me I don’t care when they release personally but they do have to think about it when you want to get more people to buy it.

I wouldn't mind seeing it on the older generation as long as that's not their main goal. I think that's where a lot of early games make their biggest mistake. They need to shoot for the current gen systems, then they can compress and cut what they need to fit on the past gen.

The picture in the article was a fan made ancient Roman assassin, but the Shay rumour could certainly be real. Apparently Shay is a Templar and so the name Rogue does seem fitting.
A Rogue Templar ey? That does sound interesting. Hopefully they'll make a PC version too.
