Grand Theft Auto V's script was 3500 pages Long

We all know Grand Theft Auto V had a bunch of dialogue, but how much paper does it actually take to contain all those cutscenes, asides, one liners and phone calls? The answer will be enough to give up your dream of ever working at Rockstar, just in case you end up having to do the photocopies.

And by TP you of course mean Trevor Phillips (Enterprises) right ;)

I know I will be personally attacked and have my life threatened for saying this, but seriously that's a lot of pages of BS storyline. That srory was bland and unfocused l, too many family drama missions too. I beat it twice to be sure I didn't care for ot too much even. Don't get me wrong I didn't hate the game.

im on a mission to actually finish the game since i sold it the first time i bought it. the story is pretty weak when you look past the entertaining characters. characters are great, story.....not so much.

This is something very typical of video games.

i cringed at playing michael. cause i knew i had to deal with the whining ass family of his. to me it wasn't entertaining at all.

ThatOneGuyThere3556d ago

see, I like playing as michael the most. Trevor is good and all, but a little too over the top. Franklin is super boring haha.

I couldn't agree more, if you compare the storyline to previous GTA titles, it's pretty bland in comparison. I guess gamers will accept anything you feed them these days.

Compared to GTA IV it's leagues ahead in terms of character development and narrative direction, playing a stereotypical eastern European immigrant in a dull city with no mission diversity was the lowest point of the GTA series imo. They took the core element away from the series in GTA IV which was the fun factor.

GTA 5 was like a Rated R version of Seinfeld. (Trever being a sociopathic version of Kramer). It was a game about "nothing", which is why I liked it. Each character had their issues and seemed completely believable. That doesn't mean you have to enjoy every moment of their live's that we shared, but it was realistic at least. (Of course that is the dialogue and not the over the top missions.)

Of all of the GTA's acting and dialogue, this one seemed most real and had you invested in the characters the most. Just MHO so, ...

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
