I (Robin Ek, TGG) am very sad to inform you all that Red 5 Studio's have decided to close down their "sci-fi F2P MMO/Open world game "Firefall". Here's what's known for now.

This is sad news, because I always felt there was great potential with this game but it never got to where it could be.
Plus this was the only game to ever use the Project Offset engine too. Project Offset never came out so getting to see what it could do was the closest we ever got because of this game.
We're rounding up some games like Firefall, a great concept that simply was not executed as well as we hoped. Maybe these other worlds will hit the spot!
I use to love MMO's but now i can't stand them. I hope they can change the grinding and make a more engaging gameplay style.

Might have to give this game a try with all the changes they have made.
Firefall is a good fps-mmo. Its more Destiny than Defiance. i found Defiance to be lacking and Destiny has a higher quality and so does Firefall.
Red 5 re great devs as they play with the community almost daily and YES Firefall is a Gamers Game. Red 5 made just about every change us greedy gamers wanted.
Tons of customization tons of weapons 5 unique classes Esport quality PvP along side great e ploration and PvE plus my favorite JETPACKS and GLiDERS.
Fivhting the alien horde is like Star Troopers but the huge bosses are complex and require teamwork and base heavy artillery
Pvp is straight up esport material nuff said.
I have been plying Firefall since the alpha and I love it so go try it
