Watch As We Explore the Depths of The Moon And Find Hidden Areas In This New Destiny PS4 Video

n an old trailer for Destiny, we saw different area’s on the moon that show off boss battles, crazy hives, and tons of fallen and hive creatures. Most people don’t think that this area was included in the Mission that we have access to in the beta, however if you look around enough it is possible to find a giant explorable area which seems to be the same as the one from the “The Moon” trailer released back in October.

I got all the way down there also... Dead end and nothing worth the time for doing it. They need to add some bosses and fat loot.

If what what it the point of exploring and killing waves after waves?

My_Name_BTW_Is_Dante3560d ago

The point is that it's a beta and people just want to explore and try to see everything the beta has to offer. There were some new enemies on the moon if you explored (like the shrieker). The deeper you go inside the moon, the more it looks like a dungeon out of an elder scrolls game.

ATi_Elite3560d ago

I understand your point but you are forgetting one main issue.....

Its a BETA and no one ever puts all the goodies into a BETA.

Hey even though its a Beta lets put in all the Bosses, all the endings, and end game credits too. Says no developer EVER!

LackTrue4K3560d ago (Edited 3560d ago )

tell us more about what is missing in the game, and about how many HOURS, you place in the game its self....

not the beta (rolls eyes)
but on the finish product.

"them thick glasses are keeping you from looking @ the game."

thehitman13983560d ago

The whole point of the moon mission was for the mission. Just like on earth you can go do the mission, but if you want you can explore the rest of earth and not do the mission. Just because they didn't have some crazy boss fight at the end of the tunnel or some loot doesn't mean they won't have it in full game, this is the beta after all. Heck, you don't even know if that's the true end on the tunnel. When got to find out today just how bog this game is gonna be in size. If the moon is this bigggggg just think of what mars, Saturn, Venus, or freaking Jupiter is gonna be....

It was pretty cool... And the king enemy keeps getting bigger and stronger it took me and other two friends to kill two of theses big king guys who where a level 12 but with the yellow bar about 10 mins ...

masterfox3559d ago

Actually he didn't went all the way down, in the end of the road there's this huge door at center and a different huge boss appears, still it was pretty easy, I thought I would get something special if I beat it, but I didn't get nothing.

Destiny Made Over $160 Million In Microtransaction Revenue In Less Than 2 Years

Destiny has made over $160 million in MTX revenue, and these numbers only account the data from late 2017 to early 2019.

Sgt_Slaughter331d ago

That's extremely low for microtransactions, especially for a game that's essentially designed around it

LucasRuinedChildhood331d ago (Edited 331d ago )

This was back when the game wasn't free to play.

The figures are from November 2017 to February 2019 (1 year and 4 months).

Based on that projection, the MTX revenue for Destiny 2 likely would have been closer to ~$240m for 2 years.

Not sure if premium expansions are included in that figure either although ... I'd hope that they are though and that most of the revenue was for actual content like Forsaken.

People spend way too much money on cosmetics.

Rude-ro331d ago (Edited 331d ago )

Seasons($10 and just got bumped to $12) and dungeon keys($10 each, two a year) are through the eververse(micro transaction) store.
So for those two years, in order to play a season, you would pay through micro transactions.

Sonic1881331d ago (Edited 331d ago )

Bungie Marathon will be worse since it's designed around it as well

Kurt Russell330d ago

It makes me sad to agree... but at the same time I am looking forward to giving it a go. Destiny 2 is so far in, I find it difficult to figure out what I am meant to do first.

buffig331d ago

I think FIFA alone makes over $1bn a year from mtx

anast331d ago

FIFA promotes a worldwide sport. It should make more money than destiny.

CantThinkOfAUsername331d ago (Edited 331d ago )

Let's compare something similar. Apex Legends and its ridiculous $18/$40 skins make EA a billion each year.

z2g331d ago

For as much as ppl complain how much they hate microtransactions, they sure don’t act like it. No wonder they aren’t going anywhere.

spicelicka331d ago

By "people" you're referring to millions and millions of people. Obviously the ones complaining aren't necessarily the same as the ones spending all that money.

There's millions that purchase MTX and there's nothing we can do about it

I've been thinking about playing through D1 again before it goes away...

CobraKai482d ago

That’s the sad reality of a game like this. I bought it, invested lots of money, and it can go away at anytime. I still think this was more fun than 2.

jeromeface481d ago

prob because 2 is a grindfest slog

spoonard479d ago

That's the bummer of 'games as a service'.
