The Pokémon Company International makes $1.5 billion a year from the sale of games, trading cards, movies, and toys, according to a License Global! report.
The Pokémon Company released its latest financial report this morning, announcing a net profit of approximately $325million, making the financial year of 2021 to 2022 - including the release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl and Pokémon Legends Arceus - not only it's most successful year ever, but by a margin of nearly double that of last year's record breaking profits.
I wonder what Gamefreak will do if Pokemon wasn't successful, surely they could make something new.
But WHY!?
Their lazy efforts, crap upgrades, lack of ambition and just overall sticking to "what works" instead of actually using ALL THAT MONEY to do something molders have been able to shame them on.
To celebrate the upcoming release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the Pokémon Company are offering fans the chance to win prizes by uploading pictures of their pets.
Fans looking to learn the Pokémon Trading Card Game have a new option with the just-released Battle Academy. Each box comes with three complete decks, tutorial guides, a rulebook, and a game board. There are also a set of damage counters and a large metallic coin.
Pokemon is profitable!
They are literally a treasure chest that spawns its own gold for Nintendo
Maybe they can put some of that money toward a Pokemon Wii U RPG game
and this is why I get a good laugh at people thinking that Nintendo is doomed
Mere pocket change
