Really want to see the new graphics

ScamperCamper3574d ago

No question I'm juiced for the PC version. I've read improved AI: http://www.grandtheftautofo... Makes sense if your PC version has access to more RAM. More traffic on roads too, but I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I just think (and hope) that with my PC that I can crank the eye candy and have perhaps the best PC gaming experience EVER. That's my hope anyways.

Nafon3574d ago

Actually, the next gen console versions (for any multiplat, not just GTA V) would have access to more RAM, since EVERY PS4 and XB1 has 8GB of RAM, where not every PC has the same. However, even the most advanced PC games I play never use more than 3GB of RAM, most of the time below 2GB, and my 2GB VRAM is never too little. If they use more, that's just bad programming right now.

pwnsause_returns3573d ago

dont forget the possibility of mods... PC Modders can finally make the switch from GTAIV and make GTAV their playground. Everyone benefits.

Half_Minute_Hero3574d ago

Unfortunately, this won't be 60fps on the PS4/XB1. Open world games don't run at that. 900P/1080P/30FPS

TruthInsider 3573d ago

MGS Phantom Pain? 1080p 60fps open world!

Half_Minute_Hero3573d ago (Edited 3573d ago )

Good point, but from the 30 minute gameplay I saw a lot of rough edges that looked last-gen, like the pixelated foliage, for one, and low res textures. GTA V will look better.

Crazyglues3573d ago (Edited 3573d ago )

Yeah can't wait to play this....

Not for me. Already played it 'last gen'. 40 quid for some enhancements isnt justfied. I'd need 64 or 128 players online to justify a purchase, and i think it only has 16 players, which ruins it. Far too short in numbers, and variety online.

BattleReach3574d ago (Edited 3574d ago )

You already get killed every 3 seconds when in a game with 16 people, and you want 128?

cfc833574d ago

Its too centralist. If there was more players, there could be jobs and heist all over the place. As it is, people focus on the one part of the map. For me it lacked.

FlyingFoxy3574d ago

San Andreas MP mod on PC has 200 player Cops n Robbers servers that are still active today, in fact the server browser still shows a 2-3k people playing on the servers per day.

You don't die every 3 seconds with more players unless they are all bunched up in a small area.

More players are usually always better if you have a big map to do stuff in.

akurtz3574d ago

64 to 128? That is the dumbest thing ive heard this week.

MysticStrummer3574d ago

Really? It's kind of late in the week for that to dumbest thing you've heard. You must not look at N4G much.

dcj05243574d ago

Nah you're wrong. Look at San Andreas PC. 200 people and it's fine. Use your imagination.

iNFAMOUZ13574d ago

you want caviar too princess?

Pogmathoin3573d ago

Not sure why you got so many disagrees cfc...... I guess you must get it again, or the hardcore here will come after you...... Errr forgot to put fanboy after hardcore.

cfc833573d ago

Youre always gonnae catch down votes for criticing popular titles on here. I do believe though that they pc players will get the much better deal when mods unlock multiplayer number restrictions. Some size of map, and to restrict it to 16 players means youre isolated if you leave the 'busy part'. To get the new version with mods, at a cheaper price or free, is the ultimate win.

Steven36573574d ago

Better performance, better experience

ape0073574d ago

also better car damage, better car models, more fedility, more cars, animals, people on screen, better vegetation.......

GTA V nextgen feel like the TRUE GTA V, i guess it's the original build of the game that was downgraded on ps3/360, the game is friggin too ambitious for last gen systems

Soc53574d ago

Yes! More fedility!!
Wait what's fedility? If it's good I want it! Must be a next gen thing.

YodaCracker3574d ago (Edited 3574d ago )

I wonder if we will finally see an end to the issue of repeating cars. It will be even worse with the increased traffic volume if 60% of said traffic is composed of the same SUV in varying colors.

Are_The_MaDNess3574d ago

Smoother Performance and a cleaner picture with faster controls.

Jaqen_Hghar3574d ago

and a better controller (going from PS3 to PS4)

GUTZnPAPERCUTZ3574d ago

Agree, 1080p and 60fps (or LOCKED 30) and of course better textures and draw distance, and shadows. Most effects and lighting were already really good I thought.

tee_bag2423574d ago

Lol.. "30fps or a 'locked' 60fps". It seems like simple old vsync has a new name with n00bs these days.

Cost of realistic looking movement.

Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…

Profchaos32d ago (Edited 32d ago )

Oh and hundreds of millions of dollars in revanue to boot.

Lots of complaints about gta ever since the hd era started and yet it's bugger than its ever been with gta vi up to 180 million trailer views alone. The next game is shaping it be be another genre defining game

MetalGearsofWar32d ago

They already learned they dont have to actually make a great game

sagapo32d ago

The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.

Zhipp32d ago (Edited 32d ago )

I did accidentally beat someone to death a couple times. An unfortunate mistake but besides that I didn't have any problems with the controlls

jznrpg32d ago

Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games

Profchaos32d ago

I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
