You no longer have to fantasize about being a goat, your dreams have finally come true! WASD to write history. It’s all about causing as much destruction as you possibly can as a goat. Destroy things with style, such as doing a backflip while headbutting a bucket through a window, or you could just give Steam Workshop a spin and create your own goats, levels, missions, and more!

I own this game, and its mindless fun. It reminds you of classic Tony Hawk games. Getting points for doing crazy stuff. Except with a Goat instead of a skateboard :D.

Also, question for Cat: I see a pretty big disparity between the prizes here and on the other news boiler sites. Comparably, about how many people (on average) come through these sites daily?

Interesting Q - N4G is the most popular - it's my charming smile? :) It generally has a larger monthly prize budget, and gets a bit more leeway with special events like this!

Of course it is, but still that prize budget must be getting to be something like 10-15x that of say techspy. Is that disparity really matching the user ratio?

BTW, Really cool to see that you have been able to shift focus onto individual studios, particularly with indies this month, but are you still keeping that exchangeable for equivalent value clause for those of us who may already have what is being given away?

The codes, for the most part, are supplied to us for giveaway - so in those cases they are not exchangeable. You get the code, and if you have it you can give it away to someone you like :) (which is also relevant to the budget question, obviously! The budget is more like 2-3x that of another NB site, it's all about being resourceful ;) We <3 all our sites, but yes the prizes have to correlate a bit with the userbase)

There will be cases this month where a title isn't released and those prizes will be more of the "customizable" variety.

Goat Simulator... Not my kind of game. I get the appeal of watching silly games with glitchy physics engines, I don't get the appeal of actually playing them. Good on CSS to hit it big though!

Then again, It has to be when a goat is the protagonist!

Love me some Goat Simulator, it isn't often that I pay full price for a game on Steam (usually wait for the sales), but I shelled out for Goat Simulator, and haven't regretted it.
