Metal gear was easily the best looking back at it. And that was just a portion of a portion of the full title. God help whoever else releases a game the same year tpp drops

BiggCMan3585d ago

Well it will release next year most likely. How it couldn't just doesn't make any sense to me.

But seeing as next year will have Uncharted 4, Witcher 3, Batman, The Order, Bloodborne etc. It's tough to say that MGSV will steal the year because (and it hurts that this is true), MGS just doesn't have the mass appeal that it used to, especially in America.

Like for me personally, I already know it will be the biggest game of the year and even the generation. But that's for me, because Metal Gear is my life, and it just refuses to become less good.

MGS4 and Peace Walker are STILL masterpieces to me, and even most people. Why will 5 be any different?

SuperBlunt3585d ago

Im floored with how passionate you are about metal gear seeing as how im very big on it too. I agree with that concensious though that 4 and pw are masterpieces and at the very very minimum tpp is pw on a massive grand stage. Once that game drops i may as well as trade all of my other games in because they will all be shallow to me. That alone speaks to me about how astounding metal gear is as a video game series.

Really wanted infamous, but the whole lack of ps4 of mine was a problem

Mine was probably Mario Kart, i got mgsgz, but I'll be more excited for Phantom Pain

Also on a technical note, south park was not a spring release it was released in early march.

We are going to see a lot of crap South Park products since they sold out to paramount years ago. It's their IP they can sell out, of course; it just means the quality of their show has tanked and other products as well. Nevertheless, they put on excellent musicals, but those haven't been sold to a mega corporation.

They said awhile ago that Ubisoft holds contract rights to the main flagship South Park games. So like stick, fractured and phone destroyer.

Snow Day was handled by THQ and Question and is a random spinoff. Hopefully Ubisoft is cooking something.

anast26d ago

That's one reason to be hopeful, but Ubi is trending down too.

Loved the RPGs but never played the others. Have to track them down. Still not sure about Snow Day though.

100%, locked 60fps and still look great all these years later, same with the expansion, definitely worth a look if people haven't played it yet, not the best games ever made but a good experience, hopefully a new infamous gets released

KwietStorm_BLM102d ago

Never was my favorite infamous, but it was definitely a graphics showcase early on PS4. Still plays well with the unlocked frame rate.

SDuck102d ago

Still remember getting hyped about this game nearing release. Funny because I never even got a PS4. Jumped from PS3 to PC so I never played it ahahaha

OmegaSoldati102d ago

Its a good game. But thats it. Congratulations you made the best choice. I dream to have a great PC one day.

Profchaos102d ago (Edited 102d ago )

Graphically It's a absolutely stunning game that still holds up today.

Didn't have all that much depth to it forcing you to play though twice for a platinum trophy a good and bad run it was a little disappointing how similar those were Delsin would be like I'm not doing that for you in a cutscene but the cutscene would play out and force you to do it anyway just as you would of in a good run

I did like the story however it got a lot of complaints back in the day people hated playing as Delsin instead of cole despite Coles story being wrapped up.

Overall though the map wasn't overly saturated with useless points of interest there was some collectibles and things to find but nothing compared to a Ubisoft game.

I think it was a good game if a little hollow I've played it through around 4 times now since it's so short.

Also it's DLC was great a full story expansion
