Today was a big news day for fans of Ivo VanDijk’s rock opera video game, Karmaflow. Team Karmaflow shared a new trailer, announced that the Karmaflow band will be on tour later this year, and after the game launches fans can enjoy a live version of the Karmaflow rock opera in 2015.
Mark Steighner of Entertainment Buddha writes: "Conceptually, a game that really plays out like theatrical, operatic experience is an intriguing conceit, one that Karmaflow doesn’t quite manage to pull off."
Despite a nice presentation the first act of this interactive rock opera is buggy and doesn’t have enough to offer for the price.

Games always seem to try and make the most of the music to nail the feeling of the scene or battle. Some games even make music a part of the gameplay, like Guitar Hero. With Karmaflow though, the music is much more than that, it’s a part of the story.
Rock opera... lol. Gets me everytime.
