Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege is 60 FPS on PC, PS4 and Xbox One confirms Ubisoft

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has confirmed that their upcoming Tom Clancy's game, Rainbow Six: Siege will run at 60 FPS. There's no release date confirmed yet for Rainbow Six: Siege, but 2015 has been confirmed as release year for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

people should be careful. havent people learnt their lesson. this was demoed on pc. they have given a release date but theyre throwing out numbers to get people hyped up. didnt this happen before. if the spec dont live up to the hyped and it plays on med to high at 900p on ps4 and 792p on xbone, people are going to be pissed and say the game sucks no matter what

Don't care as long as it looks good, 60fps is a huge plus though.

Agreed, as long as they nailed down this 60fps, that's the important part, sure, it'd be nice to have a nicer native res as long as it doesn't take away from gameplay...but so far if this gen has taught us anything it's that res alone makes little to no difference in the end result (esp since all games are upscaled anyway...yes I know upscaled isn't as good as native).

Games like these should prioritise frames> resolution , gameplay experience is far more important than being slightly pretty. Its a win/win situation if both consoles achieve 1080/60

Bingo, Its not just about being 1080/60. Its about having the extra high res textures the AA, AF. If they can't do 1080/60 with that then they should go with 900/60 with all the extras.

I dont want a barren/plain look game just to reach 1080/60. If 60 is that important for the game reduce the resolution to keep a nice looking environment.

graphics is not very impressive, but the gameplay looks fantastic. kinda like a next gen counterstrike.

i meant that the graphics werent mind blowing and they seem to care more about the physics and shooting through walls. which is a good idea. therefore i didnt really care too much about them pushing the resolution or making this and that look better.
game looks good enough and they just need to make sure the gameplay will be as good.

Infamous Second Son isn't even close to running at 60fps. I have the game and it even dips below 30fps fairly frequently. I play at capped 30fps and it definitely drops below that fairly often. When I uncap the framerate it mostly runs in the 40s, which is what any 30fps game would run at if you uncap the framerate.

It doesn't even drop below 40fps when unlocked also you can lock the game to 30fps in options which it never moves from, up or down.

I enjoy your posts I think you have a good point of view and you are in noway a fanyboy.
Your post have changed because your option has changed . Anyone who is a gamer can now see that clearly that the xbone is a weak consoled.

To some this doesn't matter because they enjoy Microsoft exclusives and some others are just diehard xbone fans. But to some like me who have been multi consoles owners in the past. I will skip the xbone it's a weak console and I hated the the 360 exclusive when 360 went BRO box and got Americanized.

I'm happy ubisoft is going in this 60fps first direction and focusing on gameplay first . All shooters , racing and online competitive multiplayer game should all be 60fps first no exceptions. I wish that ubisoft took this approach with The Division also.

don't understand the disagrees, maybe its other peoples way to answer your question. anyway, no you cannot play this game 3rd person unless you buy this game on pc and mod it. thats probably the only way. not sure how the server will react to any graphical mods though.

Yea ofc, am a pc gamer as u can see on my utube page mate, i already have my 4th monitor connected to that t. I only bought my ps4 for the last of us remastered.
I only get the exclusive ps4 games, the rest of the multi platform games i buy on my pc of course :)
