Andrew Dyce of Game Rant writes: "The concept of ‘terror’ has always been more difficult for game developers than 'horror'; steeping players in fear up to their eyeballs using something other than horrifying imagery. It’s still early days for Alien: Isolation, but make no mistake: after our time with the game at E3 2014, we were downright terrified."
If you've got an Alien itch you can't quite scratch until Alien: Rolumus releases, GameSpew has rounded up the best Alien games to tide you over.
Fans (myself included) are clamouring for a direct sequel to this fantastic game and hope for an Alien: Isolation 2. But will this great game ever get another instalment?
Also included are Alien: Isolation, Dead Island Definitive Edition, Outlast 2, and more.
Good month imo. I'll play Gotham Knights and House of Ashes. I'm finishing up Disco E on Steam right now - that's a superb game.
I can believe it. It doesn't hold your hand and you have to be smart about how you play. You have to plan and coordinate and make decisions quickly or the alien will getcha. This is what horror fans have wanted in a AAA game, especially one based on the first Alien film.
After the scores Murdered: Soul Suspect received I'm starting to think people can't enjoy a game without shooting stuff. I'm personally looking forward to playing this game.
Loved the E3 demo. It's basically Outlast with Aliens. That's a good thing. I wonder how long it is.
I hope hide and seek does not get old. I hope this game is awesome but will have wait for reviews.
