We would only recommend Spongebob Moves In to fans of the show so long as they have the parents who don’t mind losing a lot of money creating reality for fictional characters. So I think that you would need to be in a very small demographic to fully enjoy this game.

I got the Hardened Ultra Edition today. The story in this game is great, can't wait for some singleplayer DLC.

Spongebob Moves In is a citybuilding game for the iOS and Android that has just recently (at least for a limited time) gone free to play. This game has you move Spongebob into Bikini Bottom and get hired by the Krusty Krab for the first time, as well as move in both his friends and minor characters from the show. Of course, Mr. Krabs is there to collect money and run the Krusty Krab.

SpongeBob Moves In First impressions | Pocket Gamer

PG writes: You know, the usual freemium stuff.

I'd say that I'm enjoying the visuals - as I'm a fan of the TV show on which it's based - but SpongeBob doesn't quite look right. His spongy yellow face is too square (he's actually rectangular), and he's gained a bit of a chin that now protrudes from his shorts.

Even the voice actor playing him sounds wrong - almost bored. I hope that's not a sign of things to come.
