Nor should they. If you want to know what they'd look like on PS4/X1, play them on PC; you can build one that will play both games properly for the same $$ it takes to own a console.
Why? on the steam can be bought at a bargain price of first and second part .. if someone really wanted to start playing this game will choose Pc.
Start the petitions!! They'll most likely do something similar to what Bioware did on the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 to let everyone understand the Witcher story.
