E3 2014 gives PC users the best of (almost) everything

"For the PC user, watching E3 is kind of like being at a delicious buffet. Almost everything is available to sample right away, and the few sections that are gated off for VIP diners will probably open up for us next year. What’s this over on the Xbox One table? Oh look, it’s a bowl of last year’s special zombie-flavoured Dead Rising 3. Ahh, hello GTA 5, your graphics are looking tastier than ever after that time a"

good e3 ,the best in years if you ask me

,im feeling so good about being a gamer : ) go hawks

Jrmy843600d ago

I completely agree with you on that.

LAWSON723599d ago (Edited 3599d ago )

Every console looks to have a solid line up the next two years. Cant wait until I get a PS4 (though will be skipping it this year due to no exclusives that appeal to me) and Wii U to join my Xbone.

Software_Lover3599d ago

That opening is full of laughs, full of fact, but laughs.

Ripsta7th3599d ago

Naah more like leftovers Lol we all tried those last year

DevilOgreFish3599d ago

And i'm sure you're going to be picking of the last of us when it comes to ps4. and many more re-releases when they come out.

Oh that reminds me of how good PC gameing is; you only have to pay for games once, no need for a 1080p or 4k edition, it already has that native out of the box.

"Almost" everything, except for:
Uncharted 4
Halo 5
Halo: Master Chief Collection
Destiny
Sunset Overdrive
The Last of Us
The Order: 1886
Forza Horizon 2
Yoshi's Woolly World
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Super Smash Bros.
The Legend Of Zelda
Little Big Planet 3
Bayonetta 2
Devil's Third
Abzu
Bloodborne
Sonic Boom
Splatoon
Star Fox
Xenoblade
Dragon Quest XI
Algo games like Driveclub, Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3.

But the writer of the article is right, almost. /s

Vegamyster3599d ago

Because naming exclusives across 3 different consoles is fair lol, granted not too many PC exclusives were brought up at E3 but i can't wait to mod Far Cry 4, GTAV ect.

kingduqc3599d ago (Edited 3599d ago )

Bloodborne*

Here fixed the list of interesting games E3 2014 exclusive to consoles had.

user56695103599d ago

the games is good but nothing to cry over. most of them is the same ole same ole, except for ninty what are sony and ms doing that having you play games differently. you should of put UC, tlou, and the order next to each other like you did the halos and destiny to prove my point better. its just more brofest shooters like every e3. we have a ton of shooter on pc, and we can easily spam list but it would take time and obviously be waaaaaaay longer. nice try tho

oh not impressed expect for the wiiU games.

jazmac3599d ago (Edited 3599d ago )

About half your list is comprised of nintendo games, which the writer of the article points out almost never come to PC (save for emulators). Some of those other games are rumoured to have a PC version in the works which the writer also mentions.

Somebody3599d ago

I've PC gaming since 2001 and have never bought a console. I have never shed a tear for missing out of these so-called console "exclusives."

Sure, put up a whole list of them and I'll cocked my head to the side and asked "So...what?" Are you to buy all of them and play them across several consoles?

The article is correct in a lot of ways. The most important is the presence of PC gaming. Several ago, PC Gamer literally declared in an article E3 is not for PC gaming anymore. For several year that's true. Now, PC gaming is integral part of it, again.

Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…

Profchaos36d ago (Edited 36d ago )

Oh and hundreds of millions of dollars in revanue to boot.

Lots of complaints about gta ever since the hd era started and yet it's bugger than its ever been with gta vi up to 180 million trailer views alone. The next game is shaping it be be another genre defining game

MetalGearsofWar36d ago

They already learned they dont have to actually make a great game

sagapo36d ago

The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.

Zhipp36d ago (Edited 36d ago )

I did accidentally beat someone to death a couple times. An unfortunate mistake but besides that I didn't have any problems with the controlls

jznrpg36d ago

Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games

Profchaos36d ago

I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
