The first scans of Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire have leaked from CoroCoro.
KeenGamer: "The Nintendo 3DS is officially ten years old, so we thought it would be a great time to highlight the best games on the console. The last dedicated handheld by Nintendo was a unique device that provided many incredible and unquestionably great experiences."
Swap OoT for Majoras Mask and Pokemon for Xenoblade Chronicles and you might be on to something with this list.
Last time highlighted the best of Gen 3, this time, it's the worst's turn. Here are the six worst Pokemon designs of Generation 3.
After pouring hundreds of hours over 10 years into the beloved Pokemon series, Gazette gaming columnist Jake Magee’s time with it might be coming to an end, he writes.
TL;DR:
"I don't want to buy a Switch, The Pokemon Company is obviously developing Pokemon games for the Switch, so I am no longer going to play Pokemon."
There. That's basically everything in two sentences.
I still haven't finished X/Y, not so fast!
I somehow can't get excited for 2D Pokemon anymore and I can't understand why Nintendo isn't keen on going 3D with it. There has to at least SOME AMBITION left at the guys from Gamefreak... how boring must it be to recycle everything every 2 years?
Just look at this sad list of their game releases:
Game Boy
Yoshi (Mario & Yoshi) (1991, Nintendo)
Nontan to Issho! Kuru-Kuru Puzzle (1994)

Pocket Monsters Blue (1996, Nintendo)
Pokémon Red and Blue (1996, Nintendo)
Pokémon Yellow (1998, Nintendo)
Game Boy Color
Pokémon Gold and Silver (1999, Nintendo)
Pokémon Crystal (2000, Nintendo)
Game Boy Advance
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire (2002, Nintendo)
Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen (2004, Nintendo)
Pokémon Emerald (2004, Nintendo)
Drill Dozer (2005, Nintendo)
Nintendo DS
Pokémon Diamond and Pearl (2006, Nintendo)
Pokémon Platinum (2008, Nintendo)
Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver (2009, Nintendo)
Pokémon Black and White (2010, Nintendo)
Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 (2012, Nintendo)
Nintendo 3DS

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (2014)
I can't wait! I missed out on Generation III because I didn't have a Game Boy Advance, but this will certainly make up for it. These scans show that the games will pretty much be in the same format of Pokemon X and Y. At least, I hope this is how it will be.
