Consumers in Japan can only choose between two Wii U system options in Japan at present. There’s the original 8GB console released back in 2012, and the 32GB Wii Sports Club bundle featuring tennis, bowling, and golf.
Nintendo’s website confirms that all other Wii U consoles are no longer available in Japan, including the Dragon Quest X and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate packages, and the black/white Instant Play Family Sets.
Daily Video Game writes: "Today eShop has just kicked off a new digital game sale, offering solid discounts on various Capcom’s games for Nintendo Switch and 3DS gamers for a limited time!"
Nintendo will be shutting down the eShop for the 3DS and Wii U completely in 2023. Makes sure to check out these games before they do.
If they're not important enough to be held on their own official storefront then they're not important enough to give your money to Nintendo.
Buy these, physically, used or simply emulate them.
This article comes off as nothing more than advertising games that Nintendo, themselves, don't care to offer you... buy now!
Wait hang on where all the outrage? I swear when Sony tried to do this with PS3 last year. There was outrage from all corners of the gaming universe.
Why does no one care Nintendo is doing it?
It's lame that it is shutting down. Now I feel rushed buying all the rpgs I missed out on the system.
You guys know that even archive.org has 3DS roms, and all other console roms. I'm downloading 846GB of 3DS roms and will add the best games to my soon to be soft modded New 3DS 😁. Might as well throw in DS and other emulators in there to. Guys this would be the best way to play and enjoy the 3DS. Just need to buy a bigger micro SD card and format it to FAT32, which you can if it's even 256GB or larger there are ways.
Today Square Enix released the newest expansion of Dragon Quest X, titled "Heroes of the Sky" and they're celebrating in a very special way
Are you serious?
What a joke!
Uh, I have the black one, and I would prefer black over any other color. It looks great sitting under my 60inch TV.
I like my white one. Everything comes in black, it's a really boring color now since EVERYTHING has to be in black. I miss the days when Nintendo's go to color was a see-thru purple, after the snes glory days.
The white color didn't seem so bad. Glossy white actually looks rather nice. Both colors looked alright to me.
Love the black system, sits perfectly with my PS4, XB1, and X360 in my entertainment system. White seems like a toy color now after the "white" fad of the original ipod faded.
