Games with Gold is getting closer to being decent. But i’m sure no one needs to remind Phil Spencer that this needs a MASSIVE improvement.
Saints Row The Third was released on November 15th, 2011, a full Two and a Half Years ago.
Games With Gold has now released 23 Titles but the Xbox Live community have not been entirely happy with the quality of these titles
The Xbox 360 launched in North America 18 years ago, and is now officially old enough to buy you a drink in Europe.
Great platform, and many of its games (not bc) still hold up well to this day. Like the PS3, I keep a 360 hooked up for those games you can't play any other way.
The last gasp of greatness from XBox, you are missed, except the RROD that was lame, but amazing exclusives until the Kinect dropped.
I really enjoyed my X360, some great exclusives on it. Used to play the shit out ot Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey, two masterpieces
It's been 20 years to the day since Xbox Live brought online play to consoles.
I remember when Live turned five and they had special edition controllers made and everything. Kind of wished they would do that again for the 20th.
Happy Birthday. OG XBL (and later 360 XBL) really revolutionized online gaming on console.
Never understood the obsession with live...but I was gaming online on PC so not sure too much of what live did that the PlayStation didn't.
Today would of been the perfect day to drop halo 2 the original bc version free on gwg.... If only
Xbox Live 1.0, the first instance of online servers for the original Xbox, is set to return via Insignia, a free third-party service that's currently compatible with 20 titles, such as Call of Duty: Finest Hour and Counter-Strike.
I was so worried they'd change the GwG format 360 to mimic ps plus. I like that I get to keep the games forever, especially since I didn't buy xbox gold for the games so it really feels like an awesome bonus.
An old(er) game is a new game to me *if I have not played it yet. So far Halo 3, Assasin's Creed 2 and Banjo Nuts and Bolts(RSA substitute for some other game I have forgotten) are the games I had already owned prior to them being available on gwg.
Dust blew my socks off, looking forward to playing Saints Row The Third for the 1st time.
its one of my fav open world games , it have the action , the comedy and the weapons , so yeah it will keep me happy ...
No, I decided to download it an it has been as bad as I thought it would be. It's a pretty average game. The lowest point in the series.
I probably would have been a lot more satisfied if they gave us number 2, even though it's older.
A great game.
I prefer a rental service with newer games than a permanent service with older ones.
I can buy saints row 3 with all the DLC for dirt cheap, and have little interest in playing it now that a fourth has been released.
Yes, there is an advantage with keeping the game. Though when the servers shut down you will no longer be able to download those games again anyway - So unless you are willing to store every single GWG game across multiple hard drives you will never keep it forever.
Furthermore, assuming you did do that, how many of you would honestly replay every one of those games several years down the line? Especially when you'll be able to buy the versions with the most content for dirt cheap physically at that time.
Give me newer games and actually give me value from my subscription. Why not give me Saints Row 4 without the DLC on a rental service? The publishers will still make money when I buy the additional content that I would have waited for during Steam sales and it's not something I could buy for a fiver or less preowned.
