Alan from StickTwiddlers travels across Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls Online on a quest to find the MMO part of the latest online installment in the Elder Scrolls series.
Zenimax Online Studios, the developer behind The Elder Scrolls Online, is currently working on a brand new engine for a multiplatform title.
"It’s really special to be at the ten year anniversary."
Wccftech checked out the new Scribing system coming to Elder Scrolls Online with Gold Road and interviewed Creative Director Rich Lambert.
I'm a hard core gamer but the monthly subscription is just to much for me if it was half that well maybe.
I work full time but allot of people do not or are just to young to have a full time job.
Zenimax or whatever really need to rethink this it will have a massive impact on console sales in JUNE.
With Destiny on the way I know what I'm saving my money for.
Horrible game nothing like skyrim
Many of my gamer friends cancelled their subscription because of the prolonged downtime, and that it's not really that good, so not worth the time/financial investment.
That's a total shame ;/
If you're playing this game for the "MMO" then you'll be disappointed. There is no end game raiding content yet, though there is going to be a huge raid zone being patched in soon. For the most part, this is very much a casual soloing MMO just like most TES games.
However if you're the soloing type who like to take your time and listen to every quest then the wealth of content is simply astounding. The amount of voice and story telling being told here could easily fill 3 Skyrims.
With that said, when this game comes on the PS4 it will probably be the best MMO out there. The action based combat and streamlined UI is perfectly matched for the consoles.
