EverQuest Next was cancelled last month almost as an afterthought in a blog post by Daybreak president Russell Shanks, to the surprise of no-one. What is surprising, however, is the strange malaise that led to it and the hopeful solution.
Landmark, the sandbox component originally envisioned as an incubator for Everquest Next, is still launching. It will be out this spring for $9.99.
Has Landmark been announced for PS4? If no, then this shouldn't be tagged as 'PS4' news. Only Next has been announced for PS4, they are separate titles.
