Raiden Vs Ryu Hayabusa - Who Would Win?

If Raiden from the Metal Gear series were to fight Ryu from Ninja Gaiden who would win the fight? We break down the caracters and see who would win in a fight.

I'm not really sure where you get that isn't mentally strong and his agility is restricted. Seriously in Rising you're flipping all over the place slicing rockets into hundreds of pieces while upside down, running along exploding buildings while the shocks don't even slightly impede his balance, jumping from rocket to rocket, etc.

i think its to do with raiden being all messed up from being a child soldier and stuff. hes got psychological issues. his wife had a miscarriage that caused him to go a bit nuts i think.

he is seriously awesome in rising though

you gotta remember that most of this is written in a way that relates to the other character. Raiden was awesome in rising but compared to ryu he doesnt seem to be as impressive

Perhaps on a psychological level. But if you include his power and abilities in Rising, I think he's to powerful to be defeated by a far more normal ninja. Ryu Hayabusa is very skilled, but can he lift a Metal Gear Ray with his bare hands? I think not.

Ryu would be wiped out so fast, it wouldn't even be a "fight".

Ryu may be highly skilled as a ninja but Raiden is a cybernetically enhanced super ninja with several hundred times normal human strength, speed that would make Ryu's head spin, and a tech sword that can cut through nearly anything.

Raiden would win. Even when missing limbs he still stopped a huge ship when it beached using his injured body and his sword skewering his body and sticking into the ground at Shadow Moses. Maybe if Raiden had no arms or legs and just teeth to hold his sword then he might lose, but I don't think so.

Raiden-so gay, but so tough.

Edit: Ryu is skillfull, certainly, but he cannot compare. A lion is a tough and skillful predator, despite having a stronger bite than a brown bear and stocky physical strength it is still a cat. A brown bear doesn't have the reflexes or predatory skill of a cat, its bite is strong, but weaker than a lion, non the less it is a bear, with bone density (Raidens exoskeleton) and more muscle mass strength (Raidens nano machines and artificial blood). They don't compare, a brown bear is too powerful, Raiden is too powerful.

Samuel, Vamp, and maybe even monsoon would kick the crap out of Ryu. He's a fantastic ninja but comparing him to Jack the ripper isn't fair. The clash between raiden and ryu would be like watching ness homerun bat someone with a stick, NO CONTEST. I have to admit ryu dis have that dragon sword but it'd be better in the hands of raiden. In this case ryu is a fly on the wall he may be able to dodge or sneak around for a bit but raiden would surely end up ripping his spine out like it was just another day at the office.

I feel its not debatable that Raiden would win for sure due to the fact that he is a cyborg (giving him superhuman abilities as described in the article). To make the battle more evenly matched, it should have been Null or Gray Fox vs Ryu, thatd be more interesting to see happen.
