The most significant change for me since the last time I played is that I am not playing it. Outdated UI, control scheme, and mechanics...
The most significant part to me is how they kept crapping on the mythos to accomodate the mmo and its need for land expansion , among other things
I found out that there were people who hadn't moved on to Minecraft. (@#$% Minecraft. WoW is much better, though both are good.)
ehhh... just let it die already
$180 per year ontop of the yearly expansions and stuff you'll buy in game is a horrible deal for players. i can't believe people still play this with such an outdated pricing scheme. total ripoff.
You could spend $50 on a PS+ subscription and get multiple new games every week.
Who are the people who still play this game and why do you still play it? They pretty much killed all the challenge associated with seeing new content in Lich King. That's when i stopped. Felt like a dated, handholding snoozefest made solely to line koticks pocket's with more money because he doesn't already have enough.
I honestly can't believe millions still play this. I think they must be exaggerating their numbers somehow like people who create an account for only a few days or bots being being counted or something.
What's changed is that I am now engaged and don't have enough time to make the game worth it if i've played. Also I think Last time i touched the game was in 05. I still play MMOS just more casual ones. DCUO is a good example I love action mmos
