I think people are forgetting that only Nintendo games themselves, and not games by third parties (unless published by Nintendo and hosted on their servers), are affected by this. That's disappointing, but there are many games that still will function fine.

That not point for the shutdown. They are shutting it down for Wii U and 3DS Nintendo Online games match making. Such as Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros.

...thank you for reiterating exactly what I said in a confusing, borderline illiterate way. Your reply was useless and nonsensical.

This is a smart move, since a lot of people will be forced to upgrade.

It's smart, doesn't mean I agree with it. I'm still holding off on buying the Wii.U.

I did upgrade to the 2Ds though (well downgrade in some cases), I don't EVER use the 3D and frankly it's more comfortable than even the XL is...I was shocked how much I can play without cramps.

The sound quality is terrible through speakers though, I have to use headphones to enjoy the music at max:)

This is why people are terrified of digital, yes its only online play being affected but sooner or later they might choose to shut down the online as well...and since your games tie into your system (So stupid btw...having games locked to ur system), most users might not be as affected by it...either way...I buy all my games digital for Vita (yes I know...but the damn cartridges are soo small and frankly changing one on subway is too annoying) and physical copies for 3Ds (other than a minimal select few...which i got for free or as a bonus).

How long until they get sued and it gets taken down? I say a month or 2

Sued for what? It's just an emulator no ROMs are with it. ROMs are easy to get anyway, but with iPhone you can't just copy and paste like Android unless it's jail broken I think. Anyway Nintendo should be more concerned with their ROMs up to torrent for years for all of their concoles, but then again they can't do nothing about it, they never will and I love it. 🤣

As long as it isn't emulating the Switch, it'll be fine.

RonnySins5d ago

Naaah! Don't want to waste time emulating on iPhone.

Won't belong before Nintendo bangs on Apple's door to have the emu removed. Like I say you take down one six more take it's place. Problem is people are putting emu's on such stupid platforms. The good emus are the ones not on stupid platforms like a red target. The good emu's are word of mouth and keep a low profile.

Strange headline, as I thought the star of the show was Super RType. I almost bought RType Dimensions EX this last month and was just thinking, man I wish we had the SNES one somewhere on Switch. That's where I got my start w the series and I was beyond excited to see it drop this week!
