Jake at Press Start Australia writes about why he is sick of ports coming to next generation consoles.
"The Game Music Foundation are today very proud and pleased to announce an additional concert, circling back to the roots of Game Muisic Festival in Poland. On April 28th, 2024, the National Forum of Music in Wroclaw will once again become a place to celebrate the art of video game music, featuring scores from The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II." - The Game Music Foundation.
Ubisoft barely have a leg to stand on lately, so do they need to crack open the vaults and return platforming royalty to glory for some goodwill?
We need Rayman 4, they could make a great platformer game if they wanted. With the open hub levels and the like.
Better than relying on Rabbids and Assassins Creed all the time
Yes..but I am sure it won't be the Rayman game fans want. Not from the company that is Ubisoft today.
Ancel is retired from games. His hoodlum/rabbid team are doing their own thing. It would not be the same if Ubisoft did.
Experience points, skill trees to fill up, level gating, endless menial tasks and side quests, constantly scrounging for resources. Always having to upgrade your gear. A.KA. "The Ubisoft effect".
No thanks, don't ruin Rayman's legacy.
Najam from eXputer writes "It's time fore a new installment in the series, not another pointless remaster."
They are working on something new. Not to be rude but it is impossibility stupid to think ND next major announcement is going to be a remaster or their next Last of Us entry is going to be another remaster.
Majority of xbox one games are new ip
This is why I don't last of us. It was a great game on ps3 can't we leave it at that?
YES!!! I thought I was the only one!
Enough with the ports/remakes and bring on the new!
I want both
If the port stops people working on something new, I'm against, but if it's a team who are usually dedicated to clean up, I'm fine with ports, for people who may have missed last generation classics.
