A crossover? Let's hope it's better than Super Punch Time Explosion (yep, sadly, I remeber that game).

Abash3676d ago

I'd buy the crossover if it had the Amazing World of Gumball in it. Thats one of the cartoons I can actually still watch, it cracks me up all the time

TheGamingMonkey13676d ago

I thought I was the only one. Gumball is amazing I can't wait for the third season. I also like Steven Universe, its a good show. What I would really hope for the game is too combine classics like Courage, Dexter, and Ed, Edd,& Eddy with the new ones. That would be amazing and make it an open world. I still love cartoons even at 19.

Shinobi1003676d ago (Edited 3676d ago )

Excellent! Punch Time Explosion 2? Whatever it is I sincerely hope it includes classic Cartoon Network characters like Buttercup, Johnny, and Courage

Oh CN, Why did you have to kill the old shows back from the 90's-early 2000's :(

Beetey3676d ago

Disagree button? I thought that was the general consensus. Old CN good, new CN terrible.

Skate-AK3676d ago

I watch then all on Boomerang now. 90's cartons are so much better than the current ones.

Hercules1893676d ago

Just because there are a couple bad apples on a tree doesn't mean the whole tree is bad. Johnny Test and Uncle Grandpa are the only shows that are almost unwatchable. I'm 24 and grew up in the 90s and even tho they had awesome cartoons, some of the cartoons today can still stand with the best of them.

kingdom183676d ago

Really, I think they really started to go downhill around 2006 or so.

AceBlazer133676d ago

Outside of Adventure Time and Regular Show CN sucks. They keep getting rid of the likeable stuff.Really Teen Titans Go over Young Justice? At first I thought it was just CN but television in general is getting suckier. From BET to disney to CN.At least CN real is gone.

Gravity_DoGG3676d ago

Entertainment changes, personally i would love a new (and better) adventure time game. Go watch boomerang ...

lizard812883675d ago

Well, the current head of CN, is leaving...the one that killed off action Cartoons and Toonami. So hopefully we will see an increase in action shows.

Yeah more Adventure Time...just what we need /s

How about a good old school game

I would love an Ed, Edd and Eddy game, Dextes Lab or Courage the Cowardly Dog. Maybe Freakazoid or Pinky and the Brain.

I would say a fighting game like Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion but the game was full of all the crap Cartoon Shows they have on now. Hardly any nostalgic characters at all. I really hate how people say theres some CN shows which are just as good as the old ones when really there's not, they don't even come close to them.

Because licensed cartoon games are only made to increase viewer investment (that is, "keep kids thinking about the cartoon") and they have no reason to get people invested in shows that they don't hardly have on anymore. It shouldn't be that way, but it is.

-Foxtrot3676d ago

They could at least give out the licence to devs who want to use it to make a game because they respect the show....not just for "viewer investment"

SilentNegotiator3676d ago

Well, the problem is also that devs/pubs only care about licenses because they get recognition. A cartoon from a generation ago (think about it...Dexter's Lab, for instance, ended over a decade ago) wouldn't get the same recognition as a modern cartoon...not even half.

WeAreLegion3676d ago

Give Adventure Time to someone who actually makes video games.

Hercules1893676d ago

Would love an adventure time RPG.

FlyingFoxy3676d ago

How about a GOOD game of Regular show? A Simpsons Hit & Run style game would suit it perfectly.

Review: Falling Skies (Pure Nintendo)

Pure Nintendo: "n a nutshell, Falling Skies is a game that fails to engage the player. Cut scenes are animated poorly, graphics, with their dull textures are dated, and these elements will really take the player out of the story. It’s true that there is some fun to be gleaned from the turn-based tactical game play, but at a $39.99 price tag it makes this game difficult to recommend even to fans of the show. If you do enjoy the show or are a fan of the turn-based tactics genre, it’s best to wait for this game to go on sale."
