Xbox One + Titanfall £359.10 at Tesco

Dealspwn writes: Tesco's 10% off code has performed wonders again by ripping nearly £40 off the price of the Titanfall bundle, bringing it down to £359.10. This is one of the cheapest prices I've seen for the Titanfall bundle and brings the Xbox One into the same price territory as a PS4. but as with the Infamous bundle I just posted, Tesco's code is only good for the first 5000 uses. Note: unlike many Tesco codes, you don't need to be a new member to use it.

......tempting but I'll wait till E3 to see what games they are cooking.

hello123679d ago (Edited 3679d ago )

Quantum break, Sunset overdrive, and halo potentially are all to come this year. There first party exclusives.

E3 likely see games for 2016-2017.

The games above are likely out late 2014-early 2015

pakua3679d ago

Halo 2 Anniversary would make me care about the Xbox One again. You can guarantee they will take out the Ranking system and button glitches though which were the best parts of the game!

Manic20143679d ago

*Quantum break and Sunset overdrive are 2nd party exclusives.

A good deal indeed, but I'm expecting to see a lot from this year's E3.

TheGeekyBanana3679d ago

Grab it while you can, theres already some decent games on the Xbox One...Dead Rising 3 is alot of fun, and Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare is a nice, family friendly alternative to Titanfall (which is also awesome).

pakua3679d ago

Look at the disagrees. You didn't even mention the PS4 but the Sony fanboys still voted you down for saying anything positive towards the Xbox One. This site is embarrassing.

1nsomniac3679d ago

lol pot, kettle & black, mean anything to you???

No one mentioned PS4 at all or anything about any fanboyism console war!!

If you take a step out of the stupidity for a second. Common sense would indicate that buying a £360 console that is currently struggling, by using Plants vs Zombies as a selling point is pretty stupid in any ones book!

Ricegum3679d ago

That is ridiculous. I mean, I love my PS4, but to disagree just for someone going into detail about what Xbox One offers? Come on haha.

On topic, this is a pretty decent deal actually. Hopefully there'll be deals like this at the end of April when I can afford to pick one up :)

What the hell are you talking about? You are so naive.its his choice so why are you bothered? I have a couple of friends who bought the xbx one for dead rising3 and i know others who got it so they could play plant vs zombies with their friends and kids...so what are you hurt about? PVZ is a blast...i got it for my nephew too. Whats with all the hate? You need chill out and stop taking things so personal.

Damn, still to high for my liking, the way it's going, it should be down to £300 by Christmas. I'll get it then.

SniperControl3679d ago

Lol, TBH, it's not on top of my shopping list, I want to get the Oculus Rift first, but that is rumoured to be coming out in 2015, but if the X1 is cheap enough, I will take the plunge.

SixtyNine3679d ago

E3 will help me decide which of the new gen consoles I get first. I'm leaning towards X1. They best have deals like this going on when I wanna buy mines.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

MadLad586d ago

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

Venoxn4g586d ago (Edited 586d ago )

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

An ode to Titanfall: The last twitch shooter I'll probably ever enjoy

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."

Physical media. Unfortunately the way games are going these days game servers will eventually be shut down and you can stare at the menu and wish you could play the game again.

littletad866d ago

This is why reading is so important. Nothing to do with digital or physical media. The game, which is online only, is being delisted because of DDOS and other hacker attacks. The case got so bad that only six players in the world log on. For PC. Rather than fix it, they continued to sell the game, broken as it is, and only now just decided to call it quits. But please, go on thinking what you will.

Ethereal865d ago

I'm aware of the DDOS attacks and that this case is not typical. This game would eventually have it's servers shutdown regardless of the current situation so that is a moot point. My comment was in a general sense and that there are instances in which games can be preserved physically when official support ends.

Let's recap your first sentence. I said, "the way GAMES are going these days" indicating a broader stroke than just this game. I agree, reading IS important. I was simply stating the obvious downsides of the digital marketplaces and online only trends in games these days. I could even make the argument that the online only offering which has allowed hacker manipulation has impacted the preservation of this great game. My comment is valid in the general sense and thank you for your permission to continue to think what I will.
